Alfie’s POV.

Once I had calmed Zoe down, I headed into my office and started looking for available hotel rooms for the next few days. I wanted her to stay for a few days because she needs to make up with Joe. This isn’t an acceptable relationship with her only sibling.

I booked a hotel for 3 nights in Edinburgh which is where Joe now lives. Just to make sure Joe would be there, I got Zoe’s dad to call him and ask. After 5 minutes Zoe’s dad called me back.

*call*

“Hi Alfie. Joe will be there for the next few weeks, so you should be fine. I said I was coming up for 5 days, and that I wanted to meet up for dinner.”

“Oh your coming too?”

“Yes. If things get nasty, I need to be there as i’m they’re dad and they NEED to make up.”

“Okay. So any plans.”

“Us three, as in you, Zoe, and I are meeting Joe for dinner tomorrow night at Joe’s house for dinner. Joe thinks it’s just me. But that’s the point. Are you coming with Zoe?”

“Yes. She needs more than one person to be by her side. And she is due with in 2 months, and need to be there if she suddenly goes into labour.”

“Sounds good. Zoe can’t drive at this stage of her pregnancy, so you need to take the train. It leaves Brighton at 9 tomorrow morning, and arrives at 5 tomorrow evening. I’ll pick you both up, and then we’ll go to his house.”

“Great. I’ll let Zoe know everything, and we’ll see you tomorrow.”

“Good. Get some sleep. Night.”

“Night.”

*end of call*

“ZOE!”

“No need to shout Alf, I’m just in the bedroom. What?”

“We’re catching the train tomorrow at 9. It’ll get us into Edinburgh at 5.”

“Okay. I’ll start packing.”

Zoe’s POV.

I reached to the top of the wardrobe, and found a medium sized bag that would fit Alfie and I’s stuff. I began to put stuff in for me: Phone, Laptop, Camera, Clothes, Snacks, and makeup. For Alfie I put in: Boxers, Clothes, his Laptop, Phone, and more snacks. As I’m due a video tomorrow, and I’m definitely not putting up the one Alfie and I filmed, I’m bringing my camera so I can do a chatty video and tell them. Maybe be a #AskZoella. And if i’m lucky, Joe will be in it. Fingers crossed.

After half and hour of packing, I climbed into bed beside Alfie, phone and laptop away so we could get to sleep straight away.

“I love you Zoe.” Alfie whispered.

“No need to whisper gorgeous.”

“I’m serious. I do. And I can’t wait for us to get married, and for our baby to arrive.”

“Alf, I love you too. But what if the baby comes in Scotland?”

“Zoe, remember. The doctor said at 6-7 months it’s possible, but unlikely. She said the baby is still developing, so it wont want to come out just yet. We’ll go for a checkup when we come back.”

“Okay. Night gorgeous.”

“Night, beautiful.”
