Zoe's POV.
I woke up at 5 o’clock in the evening. The same day Alfie proposed to me. I rolled over to Alfie’s side to see and hear him snoring. I rolled back over and took a large glance at the shining diamond ring that was on my finger, and pulledd a big grin. I was determined to tell all of the veiwers, friends, and family but I knew it was a decision Alfie needs to have an opinion on too.
I put on some clothes and headed into the kitchen. I opened the fridge and realised Alfie had bought some food yesterday, so I decided I’d re heat up some soup. Once I made two bowls I quietly went back into the bedroom. I put one bowl on Alfie’s bedside table, and the other on mine. I took out my laptop, and my camera. I ejected the memory card from my camera, and inserted it into my laptop. I imported my photos and had a look through them. They were mostly pictures of the beach, the sunset, and the sunrise. But there was one specific photo that stood out.
It was a picture of Alfie. He took an ugly selfie on my camera. Classic. There were many more that stood out, but another one specifically. It was of the sunrise. I began to shed tears as it was the most memorable moment ever. That picture must have been taken 5-10 minutes before he popped the question. I grinned. I continued to sniffle, and whimper. Alfie must of heard me because he awoke, and rolled round so he was facing me.
“Zo. What’s wrong?”
“Just looking at pictures from this morning. They turned out great.”
“No. Why are you crying?”
“Alfie I love you. I really do.”
“I do too Zo. Thanks for making this morning so special.”
“No. Thank YOU.”
I leaned forward to kiss him, and then he moved closer and kissed me. All kisses from Alfie were special, especially last nights, and the kisses we had creating another human being, ever since then every kiss has been amazing. It is just an amazing sensation.
“So what are we doing today, well for the rest of it?” Alfie asked.
“I was thinking.. maybe make a video, maybe make some calls..?”
“How about both?”
“Sounds like a plan.”
Alfie’s POV.
I ate my soup, and finally got out of bed. I showered, and put on some fresh descent clothes. I had a buttoned shirt, and sweatpants on. Which meant that the top was presentable, and the bottom wasn't. Every youtuber knows that. When I was thinking about that, I then realised if it weren't for this youtube thing, I would never have met Zoe. God was I thankful. I did my hair, and let Zoe do her thing in the bathroom. I set up the camera, the mic, and 2 chairs in front of my normal set up and waited for Zoe to finish. I then made a cup of tea for Zoe, and a cup of coffee. The plan was that we’d tell our veiwers then call our family on the video. We felt bad for not telling our veiwers about our relationship and our baby at first, which is why it is fair we make the video straight away. I then realised Zoe would be due with in the next 2 months, maybe even earlier as she is small. I couldn’t wait for something to pop into the world that Zoe and I created.
He would have Zoe’s eyes, and my hair… I hope. But no matter how he turns out, i’ll love him more than anyone else.. with Zoe in tie. I was thinking into space for too long, because I could hear Zoe trying to get my attention.
“Alfiee… Gourgeous?”
“Yeah?”
“Video time..”
*Video*
“Hello Everyone”
“Wassup Guys?”
“So today we have a special announcement, and we haven’t told anyone else yet.”
“Yeah. Like Zoe hinted we haven't been fair on you. We always tell you last, so we thought it’s fair if we tell you first.”
“So last night, well technically this morning, Alfie and I watched the sunrise on top of the cliff at Brighton Beach, and… HE PROPOSED!” Zoe showed the camera the diamond ring I slid on her finger.
“Yep. And obviously she said YES!”
“We are so happy, but we don't have any details on the wedding yet, but this is enough excitement for now..until the baby.”
“Oh yeah. The baby is due soon, so keep posted for news on that.”
“Okay, now for the exciting part. We’re going to call our family and friends on the video.”
“My mum is probably think it’s a prank, for a video.”
“Okay so first we’re going to call Alfie’s mum and dad. They are with poppy and Sean right now so it’ll be exciting.
*call and video*
“Hello? Mum?”
“Hi Alf how are you?”
“Erm, nervous but great. Hey can you put me and zoe on speak phone. We want poppy, Sean, and, dad to hear.”
“Oh yeah. Hi Zo!”
“Hey.”
“Alright. I’m on speaker with everyone here.”
“Okay. So last night Alfie and I went out for dinner, then went up the cliff on the beach. Don’t worry I didn’t walk, Alfie carried me. So we stayed up there and we were there until Sunrise. Then…”
“I ASKED ZOE TO MARRY ME!”
“Oh my god!! This better not be for a video!”
“No mum. It’s not. We’re serious!”
“CONGRATULATIONS!!! WHEN DO WE SEE THE RING?”
“Well we can always meet up for dinner tonight. Nando’s?”
“No Alfie. Healthy food. Pizza Face sounds better.”
“Oh Zo, that’s not any different!”
“Anyway we’ve got to go and call some more people, we love you and see you tonight. We’ll text you.”
“Right then, bye. Love you both.”
