Authors note: I know, I know, terrible title but it kind of fits. Just read it and find out why. Oh and this is another slam poem for my creative writing class.

From Disney Princesses To Hookers

Isn't it sad?
How this generation judges people.

The man sitting on his porch every morning,
Hearing kids play and people talk
Every single morning.
Some call him a creep,
As he watches them every morning
But yet none know that he is blind.
Due to battle fighting for our country,
And saving a man who had three children awaiting him at home.

A cheerleader,
Who is always peppy,
Always trying to cheer people up
Yet always gets judged
As people think she has the perfect life?
She has an eating disorder,
Her parents are always working
And her brother is dead
From a drive by shooting.

The badass of the school,
Always disrupting class,
Always with a new bruise
And always rumored to be a street fighter?
He is trying to get people to notice something isn't right,
He is trying to be heard,
He is being abused at home.

That girl who has trouble looking people in the eye
And never talks?
She has depression,
She also has anxiety,
Together it makes life hell.
Not to mention she saw her sister shoot herself right in front of her.
But still she's called a freak.

That guy who falls asleep in class all the time?
He takes care of his siblings,
Cleans the house and yet still gets good grades.
He has to be the parent of the house
At only age sixteen
Due to his moms drinking problem
And his dad's death.
But when he declines party Invites,
He's a buzzkill.

That girl who wears long sleeves,
She doesn't get the scratches from a cat.
Yet somehow you know that,
But you still do nothing.
You still call her names.

The guy
Who everyone says is a player
And a drama queen always starting drama
Is having a rough time at home,
And is broken hearted by someone who broke his heart,
But yet you don't know this,
How could you when you don't even bother to ask.

The girl who's hyper and bubbly,
The one who's standing here saying this,
She's gotten bullied since kindergarten.
Getting called so many names,
That she's positive she knows all the bad words in the universe,
She's heard it all.

Dyke,
Apparently with a y not an I.
Who knew right?
But just because of her hair she gets called this.
But she's representing her remodel,
Miley Cyrus.

You judge celebs based on what?
"Facts" from a Gossip Mag?
Miley Cyrus,
who you judge without even knowing.
Miley Cyrus,
Every day gets called for being a bad remodel and lesbian.
Lesbian, just because of her hair.
People disapprove of her,
Becuase of her hair and because of the whole recking ball thing.
But her hair is her hair and do you ever wonder why she cut it all off?
Maybe because everyone thought of her as Hannah Montana
And she wanted to be her, not someone you think you know.
Miley Cyrus, wrecking ball, listen to the actual lyrics of it and you will be suprised.
She's a teen,
Teens act out,
Even celebs.
Don't celebs have the right to be normal teens sometimes?

Everyone thinks they know everything,
Until they finally find out they don't.

Isn't it a sad day when a girl is pulled out of class
Or school,
To cover up her shoulders,
Or tee shirt?
Just because it will distract the guys,
Or isn't school appropriate?
Are you saying that boys education is more important then girls?
Are you saying that we don't have the freedom of expression?
So what?
It's a shoulder!
It's just a shoulder,
Not like she's not wearing a shirt!
