(Wattson PoV)

I sat on the couch in the lounge area, overlooking the city. My heart ached, and I continuously cried at random.

Crypto say at the couch to my left with pathfinder, Elliot sat next to me. 'Look, Nat.. you can't blame them, they didn't know.'

'I know.. but I do blame the syndicate.'

'We all do, it's okay,'

He put his arm around me, but I shook him off, crying into my hands. Pathfinder had a sad emoticon on his chest.

'I'm sorry, friend. I didn't mean to kill Octavio.'

'It's okay path you didn't know.' Elliot told him, and crypto just sat silent, he didn't know what to say. Path went from sad to an exclamation mark as caustic and ash both walked in.

'Ash! Your home!'

'Shut up tin can, we're not friends.'

Path quickly went back to a sad emoticon. Elliot looked at her in disbelief, and caustic simply chuckled to himself.

'I heard about him. If you ask me, one last variable to consider.'

Caustics statement made the air in the room silent, he stood for a moment, before I stood up.

'You had something to do with this didn't you?! You monster!'

'I never said that, Miss Paquette, I simply think this is best for everyone.'

'How can you say that.. HOW CAN YOU SAY THAT?!' I yelled as I slapped him, then walked down the hall to my room crying to myself.

(Time skip: 2 hours)

I lay in my bed, in the dead of night all that could be heard was celebrations from in the kitchen, I knew it would be Nox.

Knock, knock

'Come in..'

Elliot and Renee both walked in, they seemed distant from each other, they clearly needed help with there relationship.

'Hey Nat, how you holding up?'

'Wraith.. I'm not holding up good.'

'Well, I can tell you they've set a date for the funeral... do you want to attend?'

'Of course I do, Elliot are you going?'

He simply nodded in the corner, and then it came flooding back to me, a memory that I didn't realise I would hold so dearly to me so quickly.

(Flashback, 1 year ago)

My dress fitted perfectly, a long, elegant gown. Renee was next to me, helping me sort out all of it and help me get ready, she also has gotten ready herself. A purple dress which suited her quite well.

'Nat.. I have to say the choice for a blue dress was amazing, the electricity flowing down the gown at the bottom.. you look amazing.'

'Thank you, Renee.' I simply spoke, and then it started, the lead up to the final moments of unmarried life. Renee walked me out to the hallway leading up to the aisle room.

'You excited to see how Octavio looks in a suit?'

'Oh believe me he's been pushing it in my face all week about how I'm special because he's wearing a suit for me. I swear I'd I would've let him where what he wants he would've worn shorts!'

We both laughed slightly, my nerves started to take over as the song played, and Renee walked first, then I did.

'You ready skin bag?'

'I can't believe Octavio convinced me to let you walk me down the aisle..'

'I'm not, your walking down on your own. He asked me to tell you that.'

'Oh good.. okay.'

I started walking, and as I turned the corner to the aisle of chairs scattered on either side leading up to him, his face dropped. He had no mask or goggles on, his hat was off to reveal his wavy green hair.

I walked slowly up, and stood in front of him.

'Damn senorita..'

'You two have been brought together in life, through a murderous blood sport that you kill each other in!' The ceremonialist declared to start with.

'The apex games are not normally met with love, but when they are, it truly is beautiful. Octavio Silva, Natalie Paquette, you two are a perfect example of that. You two throughout all arguments and dumb decisions have stuck together like there is gorilla glue between you.'

'What is gorilla glue compadre?' I whispered, he simply laughed.

'Do you have the rings?'

'Yeah, give me a second, Elliot?'

The ring box was given to me by someone in the front row, a friend of Natalie's.

'Octavio Silva, do you take Natalie Paquette to be your lawfully wedded wife? To love and to hold?'

'I do,'

'And Natalie Paquette, do you take Octavio Silva to be your lawfully wedded husband? To love and to hold?'

'I do.'

'Any objections?' The ceremonialist asked as he took off a latex mask to reveal himself as Elliot.

'But compadre your my best man? Not the ceremonialist!'

'I can do two things at once!'

(Present day)

I started to cry, and Renee quickly hugged me, and Elliot came over too, we were embraced in each other's arms for a long time.

'What triggered that?'

'Flashbacks to the wedding..'

'Oh Natalie..' Renee said as she stroked the back of my head slowly, comforting me.

'The funeral is in two days..'

'Thank you, Elliot..'
