Heartbreaker

Part 13

(Mystery POV)

'We have a ship ready for you!' The receptionist said, and I smiled at her. I got up and walked with her towards the landing pad, once we got there I boarded the ship.

'We are taking off! We will be there in just under an hour!'

(Steven POV)

We all sat in the lounge area, waiting for Loba and Revenant. They walked down the hall almost simultaneously as we were talking, I was sat with Ajay and Crypto, talking about the games.

'Okay, are we all ready?' Nox asked, and we nodded.

'Good, think of this as an apology present.' He said, and we got up to walk out.

I stuck to the back of the legends, as did Ramya, she didn't look like she was alright with this situation. 'You alright?' I asked, and she looked at me and smiled. 'Couldn't be better! You?' She asked and I nodded.

Only Six of us had came including Dr Nox, there was me, Ramya, Natalie, Loba and Elliot. He said we were eating at one of our favourite places, althoug we knew that was a lie. We continued walking, until we came across an alley which Caustic went down. We followed, and were cut off behind us by a car blocking the entrance we came into, and then the other side too. Men came out on both sides, being led by who I assumed to be Michael. He came straight to me and grabbed me round the throat, choking me as I tried to get him to release his grasp.

I kicked him in the stomach and he loosened his grip enough for me to pull his hand off of my throat. I then punched out, hitting him in the jaw and watching as he spat blood out. His men then stepped up and I tried fighting back against them, but they were too strong, they grabbed my arms and tied them behind my back. I looked to Ramya, and she nodded, which was the signal that her phone location was being broadcast to Ajay and Anita.

They stopped me in front of Michael and he laughed, he then punched me in the stomach and round the face. 'Your the infamous Renegade? Your a joke. Put him in the car, get the rest as well. Nox your with me.' They smiled as Michael punched me in the face again, and again.

Then everything went black...

(Mystery POV)

We were coming into land, the headquarters were right there. I felt my stomach turn as I realised what had happened... had any of the others been injured? I thought as I got off of the ship, thanking the pilot.

I walked through the door on the roof, making my way down the corridor and into the lounge area.

I saw no one, they must have all gone out, I chose to go to my room. I walked in and saw a few cards scattered around the room, my dresser open and the note and ring box I had brought Natalie on top.

I got changed into some of my other clothes, and went back out. I found a note on the counter and one of the spare phones, I hadn't noticed it prior to this moment. I walked over and read it:

To anyone reading this, it's Anita. Our friends have been kidnapped and we have gone to save them, this is worst case scenario but if you have had to come lookin for us, we may be dead. Look on the phone for Ramya or my location, and come find us. Bring guns soldiers.

I knew what I had to do, I ran back to my room and grabbed my R-301 I kept under my bed for safety, then I grabbed my arena outfit and put it on. Looking in the mirror briefly, I grabbed all my ammo.

I ran as fast as I could whilst following the phone GPS, it was around Ten blocks away, on the way I saw Che and Anita in the distance.

I stimmed up and sprinted, trying to catch up which I did with ease.

'Where are we going Chica's? Where are they?!'

'SILVA?!'
