Tomorrow is thanksgiving and I'm so excited to see everyone Mama is still kinda weak, but trust me, that hasn't slowed her down one bit. I don't think she knows what the term bed rest means.

"Avia, can you come here a second." Dad yelled from the office

"What's up dad" I said walking into the office

"How can we get your mother to slow down?" He asked closing the door behind me

"I have no idea, she won't listen to me." I said

"Threaten her with the baby." Dad said

"I have already tried that." I said

"Try again, give her a reminder of last time." He said

"Why can't you do it?”  She scares me when she get mad.” I whined

"She doesn't listen to me." He said

"Fine, I'll do it. But you are coming with me." I gave in

"Deal." He said

"You owe me."I said walking out of the office.  I could hear him laugh as I walked away

"Are you coming?" I sassed and he laughed.  He stood up and followed me downstairs

"Hey guys!" Mama said when she saw us

"Hey Mama. Can we talk? " I told her.

“Sure Baby, what’s up?” She asked

“I think that you going to much.” I said

She turned around and glared at dad, I guess she knew what this was about

"This should be good." She said sarcastically

"You need to slow down." I blurted out

"Excuse me." She stated

"Slow down." I repeated

"No." She said bluntly

"Why not?" I asked

"Because I don't want to." She sassed

"Do you want to hurt the baby?" I asked she just glared at me with hurt in her eyes  "Sorry that came out the wrong way, we're just concerned that your doing too much and not resting enough" I said

"Avia I'm fine." She demanded

"Okay, please don't be mad at me." I said shyly

"I'm not, I'm frustrated." She said

"Why?" I asked

"Because I know what I can and can't do." She spat

"I don't know if this helps, but it was his idea to has this conversation." I completely throw dad under the bus for this one

"Hey, you're just as concerned as I am." He defended, dodging a blow from mom

"Yes, that's true." I agreed

"I don't need you too telling me what I can and can't do." Mama spat

"We're not telling what to do, we're just voicing our concern." Dad said
