Happy Birthday To Me!

A few days later it was Ryan and I's senior prom! Mama had the idea of having my entire grade over for pre prom pictures. I didn't want them to be here but I wasn't gonna make mama mad

"Okay...everyone will be here in a few minutes. Is everything set up...?" mama asked

"Mommy!!" Shelby ran the house butt naked. Mama gasped and tried to chase after him. 

"Shelby Steven! Get back here!!" He giggled and kept running

"Narvel...!" mama called, running out of breath

"Yeah baby?" He said 

"Can you...catch...your naked son...?" she asked him between breaths

"Shelby!" I said picking him up "why are you running around naked!" I said

"Fun!!" he giggled

"Oh you think it's fun huh." I said and walked to mama and daddy

"What do you think you're doing Shelby...?" mama asked him

"He thinks it's fun." I said. She shook her head and giggled. "Please don't turn into your daddy when he was little." she told Shelby

"It's very freeing." Daddy said talking Shelby and walking up stairs with him. Mama stifled a laugh and shook her head

"You outta breath?" I asked her

"Yeah...a little." she breathed out. "Can't chase him like I used to."

"Someone gets in the way of that huh?" I rubbed her belly

"Yep. I've gotta share everything right now and I just don't think the baby wants me to use up there energy running." she joked

"I wouldn't either." I giggled. She giggled and rubbed her belly lightly

"I need to get my dress on." I said

"I can help." she smiled

"Good." I smiled and we walked to my room

"You look beautiful by the way." mama smiled

"Thanks mama." I smiled.

"Of course." she smiled and grabbed my dress. It was gorgeous! It was a white ball gown dress with flowers on.

"Alright...step in carefully..." she said after she unzipped the back. I got into the dress carefully and she zipped it up. She fluffed the skirt a bit and turned me to face my mirror. "Look at you..." she said softly. "Just like a princess." I giggled and smiled. "Will be doing this a month from today too." I smiled 

"Gosh...it's all happening so fast..." she said softly

"I know." I said

"You'll look just as beautiful then as you do now...as you always do..." she said

"Thanks mama." I smiled at her. I could see her belly moving and I put my hands on it

"You think sissy is pretty too, huh baby?" mama smiled.They kicked my hand and I giggled. "This is my last week it being a kid" I said

"It is..." mama said softly and placed her hands over mine

"18 is so old." I said

"18 isn't old." she chuckled. "Wait until you're 30...or even 40."

"I can vote." I scrunched my noise up

"Ooh...politics. You'll have to keep up now." she teased
