Fight Like Sisters

About a week has passed and I still haven't said much to Emma. You could say it was the pregnancy, but I was really hurt that she hadn't shown up. Mama had told me what Emma had done while she should I have been at my shower, I get that they are in love and everything but I was hurt. Mama, daddy, and Ryan were trying to get us to talk at every opportunity that presented itself. We would say hi to each other but that was it.

"Mama this is killing me...I hate having to act so distant to sissy..." Emma said sadly

"I know you do baby." She said pulling her into a hug

"I just don't know what I can do to get her to talk to me." Emma said, snuggling into mama. Mama kissed her head and pet the back of it. 

"Ryan, and your daddy and I are trying to figure that one out still" Mama said She nodded and held mama tighter

"I love you." Mama said

"I love you more mama." she said

"Nope not possible." Mama kissed her cheek

"I think it is." she said and looked up at mama with her big brown eyes

"I don't think so." Mama smiled and cupped her hands around her cheeks. Emma gave a small smile and nodded a bit. Mama gave her a kiss and then Emma headed to school. Ryan was over at mama and daddy's house, discussing with daddy how to get Emma and I talking again. He told me it was all business so I wouldn't worry

"We really need to get the girls to talk to each other." Ryan said

"I definitely agree. How do we do it though...?" daddy asked

"I have an idea but it's a bit... crazy." He said

"Now I'm very intrigued." daddy said

"What if we have Avia think her water broke in the middle of the night while she was sleeping and Emma is the one to take her to the hospital?" He said

"Wow...that's definitely crazy, but I'm willing to try crazy at this point." daddy said

"How would you fake her water breaking?" Mama asked

"Warm up a bottle of water and pour some on the bed while she's sleeping." Ryan replied

"Now she's gonna call us a million times, do not answer." Mama said

"Got it." daddy said and Ryan nodded, I got lonely at my house so I drove Maggie and I to my parents. I let her run into the house first. She barked and found Daisy who was in the room with mama, daddy, and Ryan. Daisy shot up and wagged her tail excitedly. Mama, daddy and Ryan were very confused

"Is there something we don't know...?" mama asked aloud

"Maggie? How'd you you get in here?" Ryan asked

"How do you think?" I waddled into the room out breath

"Avia! Did you walk up all that way??" mama asked

"If all that way you mean from the garage to this couch then yes." I plopped down and tried to catch my breath

"Don't over exhaust yourself. You could make yourself go into labor." she said then turned and winked at Ryan when I wasn't looking

"I walk 5 feet and I'm out of breath." I huffed

"We could always start pushing you around." she joked

"That works for me." I said catching my breath. She kissed my forehead and smiled. Maggie and Daisy were play tug of war

"What are y'all doing?" daddy chuckled and roughed up Daisy's fur then Maggie's
