It's Show Time Mama

It has been over a month since my surgery and everything is healing great. I'm finally of the crouches,but I still have the knee brace on.  Things between mama and me have been going smoothly and I'm glad of it. She was still touring and wouldn't stop for a while.  Her belly is definitely growing more and more each day. We still don't know if it's a boy or girl yet.  We are all on edge to find out. Like I said, I hope it's a boy. Mama has a show tonight in Oklahoma.  The plan is to visit the family for a couple days and I can finally meet my horse Colbolt.  I can't believe they got me a horse! Mama is so happy,and I can already tell she'll love him just as much as me if not more.  Mama was out to lunch with Grandma , Aunt  Alice and, Aunt Susie so I was just My dad and Grandpa at the house. I was in the living watching TV with Grandpa when dad came into room.

"Hey Grandpa." I said scooting over so he could sit down.He patted my knee after he sat down.

"Hi Via how's your knee doing" he asked

"It's getting better" I replied with a grin, daddy said I looked like mama when She hurt her knee.  answered

"Well you guys are basically twins" he said and we both laughed. "Hi guys" dad said coming into the room and sitting next to me on the couch

"Well she is my mom" I joked."can't you tell" I said flipping my hair

“I got an idea Via” daddy said   

"What is it?" I asked curiously

"You would like to surprise your mama on stage tonight and sing a couple songs with her"  he said

"I love that idea!" I said excitedly

"Don't either of you know a thing about Reba.  She hates surprises" Grandpa said

"I think she'll make an exception with this one." I said smiling

"Does the band know about this idea" I asked him

"Yea... I kinda already knew you'd say yes so I told them." Daddy said

"Of Course you did” I said.  He laughed and kissed my cheek

"When are leaving to go to the show" I asked him

"When your mom gets home" he replied"which shouldn't be too long"

"Okay her fans are going to love this" I said

"Ooh yea" grandpa said and the three of us laughed

"What's the plan of this surprise I asked dad

"You'll just walk out when you feel it's the perfect time." He said

"How about when she sings You're gonna be? Seeing that song is in the middle of the show I could just stay on stage the rest of the time" I said

"That sounds lovely."  Dad said like a gentlemen

"Ahh I can't wait" I said excitedly

"Can't wait for what?" Mama said walking through the door."Uh for the baby to be here." Dad said backing me up

"How was lunch ladies" daddy asked

"Great! Even though Reba kept sneaking food from everyone's plate." Alice said

"Hey I'm eating for two" mama said defending herself

"Not the way you just ate. Are you sure you’re not having triplets?" Susie said

"It's gonna be a long time before I get the chance to eat again and I don't want to get hungry before the show" she said

"It won't be pretty if  that  happens" I said Mama gave me the good ole reba look and I shot it right back at her
