Baby's first Thanksgiving

It was the day before Thanksgiving and the start to days filled with family and food. I was finally starting to feel better after a few days of rest. We were now leaving Vegas to head to granny's house.

"You ready mama?" Daddy asked walking into her room making sure she had everything 

"I think so...I'm going through my mental checklist..." she said, her brows furrowed as she thought

"If you forget something then we can always mail it to you." He said 

"I know, but I hate for you to have to do that." she said

"I don't mind at all." He smiled and kissed her cheek

"You're so sweet." she smiled and pat his cheek

"I get it from you." He smiled big. Shelby crawled into the room and mama was trying to pick him up 

"Shelby...get back here!" Mama said, following behind him. He was giggled and wiggling his booty around. "You silly boy...come on. We have to go." she said with a giggle and a smile

"Mama!!" He giggled and plopped on his butt. He clapped his hands together and smiled 

"Shelby!" she smiled and leaned down to pick him up and hold him. He giggled and reached up for her. When mama got close to him. He giggled and crawled through the her legs. "Why you little stinker..." she said with a giggle

"Buh!!!! AH!!!!!!" She squealed and made his path to the stairs 

"Oh no, no, no!" mama panicked and hurried to the stairs before he could get to them. "You need me to help you with that."

"Mama." He sassed and flapped his arms around.

"Babe when we get back, we gotta baby proof and put the gates up." Mama told daddy

"I already have the gates, I just need to set them up when we get back." he told her

"Thanks honey." She smiled and walked down stairs with Shelby 

"Are you kids ready?" mama asked when she reached the bottom of the stairs

"Our bags are in the car." I said walked over to her

"Good. You excited?" she asked 

"Very." I smiled

"I'm so glad. How are you feeling?" she asked

"A little weak but other then that, pretty good." I smiled

"Good..." she smiled and pulled me into a hug, squishing Shelby a bit in the process

"Mama!!! Buh!!!" He yelled

"Sorry chubs." I said stepping away from mama 

"Be nice to your sister Shelby. We were just hugging." mama told him. He started babbling and flapping his arms around

"...really now?" she said. He started to get louder and got more animated. "Woah...slow down buddy. What's the matter?" she asked

"Mama!!" He squeals and giggled. He reached for the ground wanting to craw around, She giggled and put him down. 

"Okay, okay...just for a few more minutes." she smiled. He started to crawl and wiggle his little bit around. Mama laughed. "You silly silly boy..." she smiled. He giggled and crawl into my room."Where are you going?" mama asked him. He just giggled and continued to head to my room. When he realizes he door was closed. He started banging on it with his chubby little hands 

"I think he wants in." mama giggled. "Why don't you let Ryan finish getting ready Shelby?"

"I'm over here little man." Ryan said form the kitchen. Shelby giggled and began to make his way to the kitchen
