It was nearing the middle of October and it was time for fall break. Ryan and I were headed home to spend time with our families. After that huge fight Makenzie and I had a couple of weeks back, she decided to move into a different room. I was really happy about that, but I didn't want her to see. She's all moved out and it's just me left in the room

"Knock knock." Ryan said with a smile as he knocked on the door to my room. I smiled big and walked to my door.

 "Hi baby!!" I smiled big

"How are you this morning?" he asked, giving me a kiss

"I'm good. How are you?" I kissed him back

"Good now that I'm here with you." he smiled. I kissed him again and smiled. He kissed me back, smiling and closed the door behind him. I cupped his cheeks and smiled. "You're so beautiful." he smiled. He loved seeing me so happy. I giggled and blushed.

"Thank you."

"Of course." he smiled and kissed my cheek. I hugged him tight

"Miss me that much already?" he joked

"Of course." I smiled. He chuckled and hugged me tight

"Ready to go home?" I smiled and he nodded his head. We got to our cars and headed home

Back at home...

"Guess who comes home today Shelby!" daddy smiled

"Belle Belle?" He asked. Today was mama's due day and there were no signs of her going into labor yet

"Well, maybe Belle today." he said. "But who else...?" He thought about it long and hard. "Bubba and Sissy?" He smiled big

"Bubba and Sissy." daddy smile. He smiled big and giggled. He was sitting up on the counter and daddy was feeding him breakfast. Mama woke up and waddled downstairs. She started freaking out because she relized that most of the baby toys and things were meant for a boy. She was big on having the right colored stuff for the gender. The baby swing was covered in dinosuars and the high chair was airplane themed.

"We need to exchange all of this. To-day." she said as she waddled into the kitchen

"Exchange what baby?" Daddy asked. They had all of this stuff since when she was pregnant with Shelby.

"The high chair, the swing...it's all for a boy..." she said

"Honey we bought it too long ago now to exchange it." He said

"But then she'll grow up to be a tomboy..." she groaned

"Mommy!" Shelby smiled

"Why is that a bad thing?" Daddy asked

"Hi baby." mama smiled and kissed Shelby's cheek. "Well, I wanna dress her up and everything. If she's a tomboy, I can't do that..."

"Sweetheart a baby isn't gonna know that her high chair is gonna have airplanes on it and you can dress her up all you want." He said. That upset mama. This was their last baby and she wanted them to have everything in the right colors

"You don't really understand, do you...?" she asked, clearly upset

"Honey I do." He said. Ryan and I walked into the house

"Bubs, can you tell your daddy we need to exchange the high chair and the swing?" she asked

"Well hello to you too." I said. Mama said it without realizing I had just come home. I haven't been home in about two months. After a few moments, it finally hit her.
