Merry Christmas!

The Tennessee air has gotten cooler and cooler over the past week. Today we were finally decorating for Christmas!

"I'm so excited!!" Emma smiled big

"Me too!" I smiled

"I finally get to see what Christmas is really like and how you decorate a house and have a tree..." she smiled

"Aww sissy! You are gonna love all of it! We've got some awesome traditions." I smiled

"Really? Like what?" she asked

"Well on Christmas Eve the whole family goes to skyzone for a couple of hours and then comes back here and we have a big dinner and then Grandma and granny get everyone pajamas and we show them off." I smiled 

"Skyzone...?" she asked

"It's a giant indoor trampoline park." I smiled

"Woah...that sounds awesome!!" she smiled big

"It's so much fun." I smiled

"Sure sounds like it!" she smiled. "And you guys show off your new pajamas?"

"Yep! They get us Christmas pajamas and we wear them all night." I smiled  

"I'm so excited!!" she smiled big and tackled me into a hug. I giggled and hugged her tight

"Love you sissy." she smiled

"I love you too." I smiled

"So do we get a real tree or do you guys already have a tree?" she asked after a few moments of silence

"Usually we get a real one but we might get a fake one this year. I still need to talk to mama and daddy about it." I said

"Where'd they go anyway...?" she asked

"I'm not sure." I said. Shelby was on the floor in the living room playing with Maggie

"Maggie!" He giggled. She licked his face and crouched down on her front legs, her butt in the air as her tail wagged. He through the toy he had in his hand and she caught in her mouth. I smiled and walked up stairs to find mama and daddy

"Do you think she'll like it...?" mama asked daddy

"I think she's gonna love it." He smiled

"Wait..." she stopped and heard my footsteps. "Someone's coming! Hide it!!" she whispered

"It's bubs." I said before I walked on

"Hide it!!" mama mouthed and passed my present to daddy at which he scrambled and finally hid it. "You can come in baby." I walked in and gave them a look 

"What you guys doing?" I asked

"We're just talking about a few things." she replied

"Like what?" I asked and got into the bed with them

"Just...personal stuff..." she replied

"Like what kind of tree we wanna get for the house." daddy said

"What are you guys thinking?" I asked

"I really wanted a real one, but I know we probably can't get one." mama said

"It'd probably be best to get a fake tree though because of Shelby and Maggie." daddy said

"I just don't want Maggie to pee on it. Shelby is gonna try to eat the pine needles." I said

"That's exactly what I thought." daddy said

"Fine..... We can get a fake one but only if it's a huge one." Mama said
