As the chilly December air began to set it we knew it was Christmas time. Mama had gone the extra mile to try and get the decorations set up early which meant daddy had to put up all of the decorations for the house

"Oh Narvel!" She called out for him sweetly. Daddy sighed where mama couldn't hear her then put on a smile.

"Yes honey...?" he called back

"Guess what time it is?!" She smiled big as she walked into his office

"What's that honey?" he asked with the smile still plastered on his face. He knew what it was, but he didn't want to disappoint her with how much he didn't like it. He loves Christmas and how the how is all decorated but he hates the process of doing it.

"It's time to put up the Christmas decorations!" She smiled big and excitedly

"Finally!" he smiled big, the excitement she was giving spreading to him

"Lets get the kids!" She smiled big and came into my room. She knocked on my open door, her smile from ear to ear.

"Hey baby! Wanna come help us decorate?" she asked me excitedly

"Of course!" I smiled big and got out of the bed. She smiled big and pulled me close once I reached her. I hugged her waist tight and laid my head on her chest. She rubbed my back and kissed the top of my head

"How you feeling this morning?" I asked

"I feel pretty well. Like a have a bit of energy today." she replied. "How about you? How are you feeling?"

"That's good, my head hurts a little but not bad." I said

"Well that's good. Maybe some ibuprofen before we get started?" she suggested

"Probably a good idea." I said

"Have you eaten anything?" she asked

"No not yet." I said

"That might be a bit of it too. Come on, I'll fix you something." she said. She grabbed my hand was led me down stairs

"Is there something special you wanna eat that I can fix?" she asked as we made our way to the kitchen. "Maybe eggs or toast? Grits? Oatmeal?"

"Eggs and toast sound good." I said

"Eggs and toast it is." she smiled and gave me a kiss before sitting me on a bar stool so she could fix my breakfast

"Mommy?" Shelby said as daddy brought him into the kitchen

"Yes baby?" mama replied as she grabbed the pan for the eggs

"Cistmas time?" He asked with a yawn

"Soon baby boy." she replied with a smile

"Yay." He smiled tiredly. She giggled and started making breakfast

"How babies?" He asked

"The babies are okay. I don't think they're up yet." she replied

"Why they not up, its christmas time." He said

"I'm not sure. Maybe they're just sleepy. Do you wanna come say good morning?" she asked him

"Yes pease." He said. Daddy put him down and Shelby walked over to Mama

"Now just make sure you're quiet and gentle." she explained, turning so she could face Shelby

"Okay mommy." He said and reached his arms up to put is hands on her belly. "Wake up babies, its christmas!" He smiled big. Mama could feel the babies stir just a bit
