Six years later.

"James! You better be on your best behavior," Miyoung tells her son. He only giggles before he runs far away behind Yejun.

"I'll come to pick him up after the meeting with the fairies," Miyoung said a bit annoyed.

I chuckled. "Good luck."

I follow the path the two kids followed to make sure they are not getting in trouble already; they went to a part of the castle in which none of us go so often.

As I walk by, my gaze pins on a photo hanging on the wall. I walk closer to it out of curiosity. My eyes widen as I see the scene in front of me.

A toddler and two newborns... Myung, Yoonji, and Yejun.

I feel my eyes get teary at the sight. The moment in which I took the photo was not good, but the scene makes me happy nonetheless.

"I found her!" I hear a tiny voice say.

I cast an invisibility spell before I walk to see what those two are doing.

"Who is dat?" I hear James ask with his cute baby voice. He is two years younger than Yejun.

"This is Bastet," Yejun says as he hugs the cat. Bastet, being herself, hugs Yejun because she adores him.

"C-can I hold her?"

"Yes!" Yejun hands the cat to the little one.

James caresses Bastet carefully. "She is beautiful."

I walk out knowing Bastet is having an eye on them along with Digaco. I make the spell vanish.

In the next second, I'm thrown against the wall. I close my eyes as I wait for the impact on my head but he puts his hand between my head and the wall stopping me from being in pain.

His body presses against mine squishing me against the wall. My breath hitches as he buries his head in the crook of my neck. He takes a deep breath making my scent fill his nose. His hands snake around my back, stopping me from moving.

"My love," he murmurs in my ear as his teeth graze over my earlobe. I feel tangles all over my body as he touches me. I cup his face so I can stare into his golden eyes. "I'm not a photographer, but I can picture me and you together."

I laugh right there and then. "We are already together."

He pecks my lips. "I know, and I'm not letting you leave."

I roll my eyes. "Why would I leave? I don't want to go back to sleep under leaves and on high tree branches."

He chuckled. "Times are different now," he murmurs as he pulls me closer. "We could have another baby."

I smack his shoulder. "Oh hell nah! Unless you are the one giving birth, forget about it!"

He looks at me astonished. "Wait... w-what?"

"You heard me!"

"I-is that even possible?!" He asked with his voice raised an octave higher.

I smirked. "With magic it sure is."

He blinked multiple times. "I-I would rather not..." he trailed off nervously.

I burst into laughter. I knew he was going to say that.

"Mommy! Mommy!" Yejun comes running to me. I sit him on my lap as he seems to want to talk. "What happened the day I was born?" He asks curiously.

Many people died...

I take a deep breath. "Our world at the time wasn't the best, but with you, all my pain became joy. Having you with me made things better. Did you know that you were the first magic being that was born after three centuries?"

His eyes widened. "No way!"

I chuckled. "You made history," I said while I rubbed his back.

"Mommy... am I a good wizard?" He asked nervously.

I kissed his forehead. "The best."

Yejun is indeed a hybrid. He can use magic and transform into a werewolf at such a young age. Just like his name declares, he is handsome and talented.

"Master Yejun! Look what I made for you!" Rogedb appeared out of nowhere with a knitted pink sweater, his favorite color.

He jumped out of my lap to hug Rogedb. "Thank you! Thank you!"

My heart melted. Yejun is the sweetest boy alive.

"How is everything?" JB said behind me.

I smiled softly. "Good as always."

"Uncle J!!!" Yejun said with his little voice. He raised his arms to be picked up; JB took him in his arms grinning.

Many things have changed after the fairies were defeated. A new queen has been chosen... one with a good heart. Magic beings don't have to hide anymore... actually, many of us are quite famous because of the things we have accomplished.

After the attack here in the castle, many friends and I worked for weeks to repair the city. Something that I had never realized before is how easy things are when having magic... it is unreal. I can finally understand why the fairies feared us... I have been able to create a protection spell that does not need the constant energy of the one who casts it; just a good amount of energy once and that's it.

The sword I was designated to protect has been returned. The Council of the Elders have it now under their watch and if someone would dare to steal it, we have multiple new spells that have not been written down on paper.

I married Jin in kind of a messy wedding. Nothing remarkable. An elder wizard married us in the middle of the plaza at the Purple Province because Jin's kingdom was still destroyed... I still remembered how it happened, it was out of nowhere.

"I came back! Now marry me!" Jin demanded pouting.

"I will! But can't we wait! I have to repair all the damage-"

"Nuh!" He said impatiently. "I want a queen NOW!"

He took my hand before he started to drag me into the forest of the Purple Province. I grew nervous as I was away from Yejun but I knew he was fine because JB was looking after him.

"Jin?" An older man asked confused as both of us had come to a halt in front of him.

"I was wondering if you could marry us, sir," Jin said with respect.

I sighed defeated but I couldn't hold back my smile.

And just like that... we both said "I do."

I used to not know what the future had prepared for me, but now I do. A simple life, the thing I wanted the most.  I have queen's duties and all that but it isn't so hard. Magic! Magic! Magic! And everyone happy ever after!

Or that's what I like to think...

I always thought my ending was going to be a tragic one or at least sad... having to hide alone for years was horrible but my sad had a happy ending because...

Sometimes sad stories can have a happy ending as well.
