Cuddling Somewhere

It was a long day for Dream. He had to go into a one of those Multiverse meetings where Ink devises a plan about how to stop Error from destroying AUs. He didn't pay attention of course because he and Nightmare already made a truce between them, so it doesn't concern him anymore. But of course, Ink dragged him along because he keeps forgetting that Dream made a truce already.

So Dream just sat at his chair, bored while tapping a pen on the table in front of him. His body slouched down with a cheek resting on his left hand as Ink continues to ramble nonsense.

Hours later, Dream stretched as the meeting was finally over. Now he had to do his job in making other people happy, but also not getting in the way of his brother because of the truce.
So he teleported into a random AU and began cheering people up. He held a convincingly fake smile on his face as his mind kept saying 'I hate this so much'.
He spent the rest of the day making people happy while his mind kept telling him to take a break already.

At the end of the day, he teleported to the most cliché places of all, Outertale. The magnificent view of galaxies and other celestial bodies were still astounding as ever. He can already tell why this was favored among most creators.

He went far from town and headed for a quiet area in Outertale. Where there were only rocks and a few floating debris that were lost in space. Dream found a good spot to hang out and watch the stars, it was on a floating platform nearby. So he hope from one floating platform to another, feeling only a small force of gravity pull him so his jumps were incredibly higher than usual. He's just glad that he's not drifting away in space.

As soon as he got to the platform, he was right on choosing the spot to be in. The platform had a view of most of the constellations surrounding it.
Dream took off his cape and laid it down on the ground. He sat down and watched the stars, they were so beautiful. He could watch them for hours.

Until his sight went black. Dream began to panic, he felt big strong skeleton hands cover his view. He kept wondering whoever this was, but was immediately calmed down after hearing that small chuckle from him.

"Crossy, I know its you! Please, let me see!" Dream whined and pouted. Cross just chuckled. "No~" He playfully said as Dream crossed his arms and kept puffing his cheeks at Cross.
Cross pulled back his hands and kissed Dream's forehead. Dream giggled and hugged Cross.
Cross hugged back and pushed them both down to the cape. They were now lying on the ground while cuddling each other.

Dream looked up at the stars and pointed at a comet that came across them. "Look!" His eyes went starry as the bright blue tail of the comet zoomed pass their view into the infinite cosmos. "Wasn't it amazing?" He asked Cross.
Cross looked at him and answered his question. "Yeah, it was. But not as amazing as you, my sweet Starshine~" Cross complimented and Dream blushed upon hearing that.

They spent the rest of the night staring into literal space and cuddling each other for warmth from the freezing temperature of space.
