30 Day OTP Challenge ~Cross x Dream~

Dream was walking around the AUs, helping people and making them happy. He walked around smiling and giving off his positive vibes to the people.

His smile was very nice and convincing to everyone. But little do they know, Dream has never been able to smile sincerely. He's only been able to fake his smile for everyone. He wished it wasn't like that, he wished he would smile like he used to.

As soon as he was done working, he went back to his house and laid on the couch depressingly. His fake smile dropped and was replaced by pure sadness. Golden tear streamed down his face as he slowly tries to sleep.

After minutes of silence, he felt a warm boney palm on top of his head. Caressing his face gently with care. He suddenly felt his head being lifted onto someone's lap, that's when he opened his eyes and saw his boyfriend, Cross.

Cross gently wipes away his golden tears and gave him a sympathetic smile. The smile that Dream always loved to see.

"Love, it's okay to not be okay. Just remember that I'll always be here for you." He said and hugged him.
Dream cried and buried his face on Cross's chest, both shared a peaceful moment with each other as another day passed by.
