Hospital Visits

Cross was in his house alone while pacing anxiously in the corridors. He was getting really worried because Dream has been in the hospital for a while now and it's going to be his fault if he doesn't make it out alive.

He can't bare living in a world without Dream. The only ray of positivity in the whole Multiverse and the light of his life.
Dream was everything to him and he'd do literally anything for him to survive this.

Then suddenly, his phone rang and he immediately picked up. It was his best friend, Epic. He's working as a scientist along with Geno and Sci. (Yes people, Epic is canonly a scientist in his AU)

"Heya bruh! I'm just callin' to see how you're holdin' up." Epic said from the other side of the phone.

"I'm doing terrible, dude. I need to see Dream, now!" Cross said while trying to force some tears away.

"Hey, don't worry bruh, Me n' the other docs are makin' sure your sweetheart will live to see another day bruh." Epic reassured him.

"Thanks dude, I really-" "Hold that thought bruh." Epic said before putting him on hold. Cross just stood there waiting for him to come back.

After a few seconds of nothing but music from the phone. "BRUUUUHH!!!" Epic shouted like he had a megaphone, if Cross had ears they would be destroyed by now.

"What is it dude?!" "Bruh! We need you here ASAP bruh!" He said and dropped the call.

Cross had no time to waste, so he got his jacket from the coat rack and teleported to the hospital. He dashed his way passed the nurses and patients towards Dream's room.
He was stopped by Geno once he got to the front of the door. "Hold your horses!" "Let me see him!" Cross told him with red eyes. Geno's one eye glew red and blue. "I said, WAIT!" He intimidated him.

Cross immediately cooled down, but was still desperate to see Dream. "J-Just keep it quiet, okay?" Geno told him. Cross nodded and opened the door.

He peeked through it and gulped as he went inside. He closed the door behind him and saw Dream holding a baby in his hand.
Dream looked at him with tired eyes, must be from the labour he did. He signaled him to come.

Cross walked over and gently sat on the bed and looked at the baby that Dream was carrying. The baby had purple eyes and purple fire coming out of its head.
"It's a girl." Dream said weakly as he gave her to Cross.

Cross took her into his arms and smiled. Tears threatened to fall out as his newborn daughter played with his fingers. "What's her name?" Cross asked. "Well, what do you want to name her?" Dream asked as well.

"Why don't we name her 'Lux'?" He suggested. "That's perfect." Dream took back Lux into his arms. He was crying tears of happiness that both him and Cross had their first child.

"Welcome to the multiverse, Lux."
