𝐣𝐮𝐬𝐭 𝐚𝐧𝐨𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐫 𝐬𝐥𝐲𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐧 // 𝐃.𝐌

CHAPTER 22-Start of Third Year

(Ophelia's POV)
Finally the day all Hogwarts students are excited for, September 1st.

This past summer I've finally grown, as silly as it sounds.

Just like first year, Father and I walk towards the wall between platforms 9 and 10

Quickly say my goodbye and run into the wall, excited to once again see my friends

Holding on tightly to my trolley, craning my neck, trying to spot the blonde haired boy I missed dearly

As I quickly find the entrance to the train, I accidentally crash into someone...familiar

"Shit, sorr—" I quickly say as I stumble backwards

"Draco!?" I excitedly say, not believing the sight in front of me

Draco Malfoy, it's only been three months but looking at him he looks like he's matured years

His hair hangs down in his forehead and he's grown even more

"Phelia hey" he grins looking me up and down

Even his voice has matured, even deeper than it was months ago

"What happened to you" I laugh

"I mean...you look great" I quickly smile

"Thanks, took your advice, threw away the hair gel" he grins

"You also look...um great" he says eyeing me up and down

"Thanks" I grin

The train lets out a long whistle meaning it was almost time to depart, and not realizing it Draco and I have been talking in front of the door, making a huge crowd around us. All also eager to get onto the train before it leaves

We both awkwardly walk inside, trying to find the two familiar faces we are both excited to see

Finally after what seemed like forever, we find Blaise and Pansy sitting all the way in the back where most of the older year Slytherins sit

Pansy glances over at the door where we were standing, not noticing our arrival

She quickly looks back at us, finally realizes it was us

"BOOBS" Pansy shouts pointing at my chest but quickly covering her mouth, looking around to make sure nobody else heard her

My eyes widen and my face turns red, I back away slowly.

"Uh..I'll just go now" I awkwardly say, placing my hand on the door

"No, no, no" Draco smirks pulling my arm back

"You are sitting right here" he smirks as he pushes me to my seat. I roll my eyes and laugh

"Besides, you have no other friends" he teasingly pokes my arm as he sits next to me

"Still" I mumble as I cross my arms
"Besides I have Elio—"

"HEY YOU WHORE" I hear someone yell from the door we entered from

We all look back, Eliott was standing at the door

"Oh my god, that really is you" he chuckles as he walks towards us and sits at the table next to ours

"What the hell, you guys are beautiful" Pansy says switching her gaze between Draco and I

We both chuckle, with red faces

"But what about you guys" I say

"Wow...that's all I have to say...wow" I chuckle looking at all of my friends

"I know" Blaise boasts as he pretends to flip his non-existent hair

"Yeah, act like I'm not here" Eliott says slouching in his seat

"Didn't miss you at all" he sarcastically says

"Hello Eliott, missed you Eliott" I blankly say, rolling my eyes

"I don't like your tone" he glares at me

"You know what it's fine, I'm not hurt" he jokingly says as he stand back up

"Besides Gred, Forge, Lee and I have plans" he smirks as he reaches for the door sticking his middle fingers to me, laughing

After a couple of hours catching up, laughing, and of course...eating, the train makes an abrupt stop

"Why'd we stop?" I mumble looking out the window

"We're not there yet are we?" Pansy asks also looking out the window

"Ouch! Blaise that was my bloody foot" she winces as Blaise tries to scoot closer and cranes his neck so he could see

"There something moving out there" he nervously says

"I think..someone's coming aboard" Draco says as he scoots closer to me, his chest pressed up against my shoulder

The train starts to get colder and colder, I could see my breath, all of us trembling from the cold and the windows start to get foggy.

Then suddenly the cold temperatures cease, everything returning back to normal

"What the bloody hell was that?" I ask

"I dunno" Pansy mumbles as she looks around, trying to find an answer to what just happened

After the strange train ride to Hogwarts we arrive and sit in the Great Hall

Eliott's friend Lee Jordan had told Eliott and I that the reason the train got so cold was because there dementors, guards from Azkaban, on the train looking for the murderer Sirius Black. He also told us Harry Potter took one look at the hooded figure and fainted

"Guys, did you hear?" I ask as Dumbledore introduces our new Defense Against the Dark Arts teacher, Remus Lupin

"What happened?" Pansy asks concerned

"Turns out Potter fainted on the train because of the dementors" I smirk

"No way" Blaise laughs

Draco turns around to the Gryffindor table

"Potter...POTTER! Is it true you fainted?" Draco asks and Blaise pretends to faint next to Pansy

"I mean you actually fainted" he laughs

"Shove off Malfoy" Weasley defends Potter and turns him back around

"Wow, he can't even defend himself" I laugh

"Pathetic" Pansy adds

"At the request of the Ministry of Magic, Hogwarts will, until further notice, play host to the dementors of Azkaban" Dumbledore announces

"Great, we'd be able to see Potter faint on a daily basis" Draco whispers

"It's the obsession with Potter for me" Eliott mumbles so Draco couldn't hear and Pansy and I burst into laughter

"What? What'd he say?" Draco asks

"I didn't say anything, what are you talking about?" Eliott says

"Happiness can be found even in the darkest of times, if one only remembers to turn on the light" Dumbledore says, and with that we were lead off to the familiar common room by the Slytherin prefects

Finally another year of Hogwarts begins
