CHAPTER 5-New Talent

(Ophelia's POV)
Flying lessons with Madame Hooch

While Blaise and Pansy had a different class at the moment, Draco and I had every class together

"Welcome to your first flying lesson" Madame Hooch begins

She instructs us on how to call our brooms

"UP" I say confidently as my broom quickly flies into my hand like a magnet

Draco also gets it on the first try and we smile at each other as the students around us are still struggling to grab their broom

We mount our brooms and all of a sudden, that Longbottom kid starts to float

While everyone was trying to help him get back down, Draco and I just laughed at the terrified boy

He starts to fly away quickly, everyone concerned for his safety , Draco and I just watch the boy struggle

Finally he gets stuck on a statue and slowly falls. Madam Hooch quickly takes him to the hospital wing

Draco picks up the remembrall that Longbottom dropped when he fell off his broom

"Did you see his face?" I laugh

"Maybe if the fat lump had given this a squeeze, he would've remembered to fall on his fat arse" Draco teases as he throws the ball up and down

"Give it here Malfoy" Potter shouts

"No, I think I'll leave it somewhere for Longbottom to find" He says as he starts to fly away

"How about on the roof?" he continues as he flies around the crowd of people

"What's the matter Potter, bit beyond your reach?" Draco teases as he's in the air

Harry starts to mount his broom when Granger tries to convince him not to, but he starts to fly away anyway

I contemplate if I want to go up there and help Draco, but if we get in trouble they might tell my father

Not thinking about it, I mount my broom and fly to their level

"Give it here Malfoy or I'll knock you off your broom" Potter shouts

"Is that so?" Draco asks

Potter launches himself towards Draco but he misses

"Have it your way then" Draco smirks
Draco sees me behind Harry

"Catch" he shouts as he throws me the little ball

I catch it and throw it as far as I can
"Oops" I sarcastically say as Potter speds past both of us

"I see you've got that chasers arm" Draco grins

"Why thank you" I laugh

Draco and I go back down and to our surprise Potter catches the little ball and comes back down too

Everyone cheers for him but Professor McGonagall storms out of the castle

"Harry Potter" she shouts

"Come with me" she continues as he follows her

"Finally some actual punishment" Draco smirks as we watch them walk away

(time jump: Transfiguration)

"He's what!" Draco asks in disbelief

"Potter's on the Quidditch team" Blaise explains as he's turned around facing us

"Youngest seeker in a century" Pansy adds

"That's-That's such bull-" I complain

"Ms.Mendoza, language! Five points from slytherin" McGonagall scolds

"Sorry professor" I mumble

(time jump: months go by)

"All I'm saying is that you shouldn't be able to teach if you're under 4 feet" Draco explains as we walk to Charms

"Ok ok you kind of have a point" I laugh
"Exactly" he laughs

As Draco and I sit as far as we can from the gryffindorks, class finally starts

All Flitwick talks about is the levitation charm we will be working on

We all get our wands out and try the charm

"Wingardium LeviosA" Draco says as the feather on his table stays still

"Wingardium LeviOsa" I say, my feather starts to follow my wand higher and higher

A few gasps can be heard from across the room

"See here everyone, Ms.Grangers done it!" Flitwick exclaims

I look over and that Granger girl also had her feather in the air

I put my wand down on my table angrily, making my feather fall slowly back down

"That bloody Granger, always showing off" Draco complains

"What did I tell you it's that Gryffindor privilege" I laugh

"Right" he laughs
