            (Song: Dancing with your Ghost
by: Sasha Sloan)

After the war, of course, come funerals.

Today was Eliott's, it was hard. Seeing his mother mourn over his grave.

Pansy and Blaise came with me, we kept our distance from the others of course. What would happen if Eliott's mother knew he died for me, that he sacrificed himself for me.

Right now Draco would have been holding me close, holding my hand, telling me it would be alright.

But he's not.

Pansy holds my hand, the unfamiliar feeling of her small, dainty, warm hands, the complete opposite of Draco's.

George Weasley and Lee Jordan came, of course, they would, Eliott was their best friend

"I'll be back" I whisper letting go of her hand

"George," I whisper tapping him on the shoulder

He quickly turns around, once he saw it was me he doesn't say anything and pulls me into a hug

"I know," I say hugging him back as I feel him shake from sobbing

"I'm sorry" he whispers

"Why are you sorry?" I ask as he lets go

"Because he was like your brother and...Draco" he explains wiping his tears away

"You don't have to be sorry Weasley" I weakly chuckle

"I'm the one who should be sorry. To both of you," I say

He doesn't say anything, a smile slowly growing on his face, he puts his hand out

"Sorry" he simply says

"Sorry" I weakly chuckle as I shake his hand

"Well I should be going" I sigh

"Yeah, later Mendoza," George says

"See you" Lee smiles

"See you, Weasley, Jordan"

I say my condolences to his mother and we quickly leave not wanting to spend another second staring at the stone that reads his name. Knowing that tomorrow it's going to get a lot worse

I thought yesterday was hard. Today has been hell. After the service, everyone had left

"Phelia, you coming?" Pansy sniffles

"In a bit. You both go on without me" I smile. I crouch by his tombstone

Draco Lucius Malfoy
June 5, 1980 - May 3, 1998
Loving son and friend

"Darling, it's me, Ophelia. I miss you so much"

"Blaise and Pansy came too" I smile

"They miss you"

I sit down leaning against the tree that is planted next to his grave

"You know, when we first fell in love, I never thought this would be the outcome"

"And this-" she sniffles as she holds a little silver chain around her neck she opens it, Draco's face smiling up at her, 'From: Blondie' it said, and the ring Draco gave her when they were twelve, his initials shining in the sunlight. It made her smile a bit, knowing he's wearing his too.

"What happened to our promise, Draco? To live in the muggle world, no parents and no expectations, with enough room for Blaise and Pansy, and even for a family of our own."
