Adlyn pulled herself out of her wheelchair carefully, wrapping her arms around Eve's neck for support. As she was stepping away from the wheelchair, she misstepped. Eve gently caught her, and steadied her. Adlyn smiled her thanks.

They made their way down the hall. Adlyn had stopped crying. She bit her lip in concentration. Suddenly tears streamed down her face again, but when Eve opened her mouth to ask, Adlyn shook her head.

"Do you want to stop?" Eve asked.

"No," was the sharp reply. "If I did, I'd say...so."
