I'm going to make it enough.

It was the Monday after she'd revealed her secret. She rolled over and turned off the alarm clock.

Ughhhhh, I don't want to deal with kids today, she thought, but got up and showered and got ready anyway because she didn't have much of a choice.

She was sitting at the table eating breakfast when Genaro came out and sat next to her.

"Morning, love. How are you?"

"Morning. I'm fine," she sighed, "Really don't want to deal with stubborn kids today...."

He rubbed her back. "You'll be fine, sweets."

"I hope." She got up and walked to the Keurig, grabbing a cup and starting it up. She practically survived on coffee.

"You want me to drive you to the school?"

"Nah. I'll be fine. Thanks, though."

"You sure?"

"Yeah. I'm gonna have a truckload of stuff to get done this morning...." She sighed again. Today was not going to be fun.
