Eve ran to the car and sped to the alley. She jumped out, seeing Adlyn laying on the ground made her heart clench. She hurried over, there was blood everywhere but she battled her hemaphobia (not actually a diagnosed phobia, for her) and kneeled by Adlyn. She realized the girl was alive, but she saw the muscle cut up in Adlyn's hand, and bit back a scream. She picked up the girl, getting blood everywhere, and said, "Please hang on, please hang on..."
She brought Adlyn to her car, set her down carefully and rushed to the hospital. On the way there she called Isabel and Alia, along with Timiteo and Genaro.
She told everyone what happened and when she got there she brought Adlyn to the ER wing.
The doctors were able to operate before it was fatal; but, she had lost control in her fingers, and a little in her arms. Eve and Genaro, and Timiteo and Alia, with Isabel going last, went into her room in pairs, two at a time, except for Isabel. Eve and Genaro went first.
The moment Eve saw Adlyn, she fought back tears.
"No," she whispered. "No."
"Está bien," Genaro whispered.
"No es..."
"Let's just leave, I don't want to cry," she said, but first she went to Adlyn and she said,
"Adlyn, you've done a bunch of really stupid things in your life. This is one of them. But I forgive you. I'll be here if you need anything," and she brushed a lock of hair out of the girl's face before leaving abruptly.
When they got home, Eve cried.
At the hospital, Isabel felt a pang of hurt in her heart. No. Adlyn couldn't die, not this way and not by suicide. Kiza Amor (a child of her best childhood friend, both had died early) had already committed suicide, and so many people in her life of cancer. She was lucky, and Adlyn needed to be, too.
(If you guys wanna know more about Isabel's Backstory, check out the book - not done though.)
