David Budd woke up the next morning, to his phone ringing. It was his boss Lorraine Craddock calling him in. He groaned and got out of bed and then proceeded to get dressed before leaving. At the office he was now with Craddock.

"Bit of a day yesterday?" she began. David gave a slight nod but nothing else.

"If you need me to refer you to Occupational health for some coucilling..." David cut her off.

"I'm fine, thanks Ma'am." his thick Scottish accent rang out.

"You're lucky you're in one piece." Craddock replied

"We're all very lucky, that the bomber changed her mind." David added

"Mm, not that she's saying much. And the husband is saying nothing." She said off handedly, glancing away for a moment.

"Well, i think when the time came she panicked and couldn't do it."

"Yeah. Great Job, David, you're a credit to the branch." Craddock smiled at her officer.

"Thank you, Ma'am."

"So far you've acted as PPO to visiting foreign dignitaries?" She questioned

"That's right Ma'am." both knowing the obvious answer.

"The commissioner's ordered me to review, Specilist Protection on senior politicians. I'm assigning you to a cabinet minister and her daughter in fact. The Home Secretary and her daughter Mia, who works alongside her."

"Very Good Ma'am."

"It's a move up." she told him

"Yes, thank you ma'am." he nodded holding back any thought that were trying to burst out of his head .

"Good man." she dismissed him and he left.

That night, David sat in his flat and researched his new detail. First up was Julia Montague. He looked at the first pictures that came up of the woman. Then at who other people search as well as, it showed the her former spouse Roger Penhaligon and daughter Mia Montague-Jones. He researched Julia (Codename - Lavender) first going on to a twitter account talking about her voting in Parliament. As he read what she voted for he balled his fist together trying to control his anger.
