"They found out." As Zeru said those

words, I went into panic mode. If they found me, who knows what is going to happen.

"What?! How?" Kayla asked.

"Micah, it's now your job to keep Angie safe and hidden. Take her to the mountains and keep her safe. We will keep in touch. If you are in trouble, we will know. But you must go immediately. Take the truck." Cherika threw Micah the keys, and without any questions, Micah looked me in the eyes.

"Pack a few pairs of clothes, sweetheart. We're going on a road trip." I followed his instructions, packed as many clothes as I could into an old suitcase they gave me, and headed downstairs. The truck was already packed and ready to go when I got outside. I hopped into the black, Ford with Micah already inside.

"Buckle up, sweetheart." I buckled myself into the passenger seat, and we were off. I felt a little nauseous and opened the window to get some air.

"So how come we had to leave right away?"

"If they found you, 1. We wouldn't hear the end of it, 2. You'd be dead as soon as they came through that door, and 3. We know that we can save your ass from them so that we don't resurrect the past and what happened last time."

"What did happen last time?" The curiosity in me couldn't be held back anymore. I wanted-no, I needed to know the wherewolves side of the story. What happened last time. What really happened. Because obviously, the vampires were trying to hide something.

"Well, to start off, we did turn Vicky. And she didn't die in the process of changing. The only reason she didn't though, was because she was very similar to you; she was an undead vamp. When we said that if she might die before we could get the cure, she knew that she had to take the risk. We turned her into a wherewolf, and she then belonged to another pack; the hybrids. When the vamps found out, they went nuts trying to find her and make her one of theirs. Girls rarely survive the transformation into a vamp, thats why there is only one so far: Sarah. Most girls are immortui succos. We change them so they don't die if we can't get the antidote in time. And now, they all hate us. There's the true story, and that's why we don't trust them, and they don't trust us." He explained. I had to let the truth take place of the lie. I now knew that if I was to change, I would have to listen to whatever Micah said to do. He was my survival now. He knew things that I didn't.  Things I would have never thought of. And now, I would have to pay attention if I wanted to live.

"Are you ok?"

"Yeah, just a lot to take in." I said.

"We're almost there, just another half hour." We had been driving for around three hours already. Listening to music, stopping for food, and talking about what had happened.

"What's the antidote for? Like, what does it cure?" I asked.

"The antidote can cure anyone, but there are only so many. It will reverse all the changes you have gone through and turns you back to a human. But if you become too ill and weak before we get the antidote, I will have no choice but to change you."

"Oh." I was surprised about what it could do. Wow, that is some antidote, I thought.

"We're here." Micah finally said. I got out of the truck and took my bag. Micah-using his strong muscles-carried the rest of the bags in a one-round trip.

"Show off." I said under my breath, smiling to myself.

"Hey, why take many trips when you can take one?" He asked jokingly.

"Really?"

"Yup." He said, popping the p.

We walked up to this small cabin. It was small and just on the top of the mountain. We walked to the door upon the porch that creaked in some spots. Micah turned the key and the door swung open.

"I know it's not much, but it'll do."

"Are you kidding? It's perfect." I said with excitement. It was a very cute cabin; small, but cute. It had a kitchen, a bedroom, a small batheoom, and a small livingroom; all on one floor. Then, I questioned in my thoughts really? One bedroom? With one bed? Just my luck. Micah laughed to himself. I stared, shocked at him.

"What?"

"Did you know this?"

"Know what sweetheart?"

"That there was only one bed?!" I was blushing terribly and my head filled with fire.

"Really? Sweet." He smiled.

"Ew! Why did I ever agree to come with you?"

"Actually, you didn't. You had no choice."

"Ugh!" I sighed.

"If it makes you feel any better, I'll sleep on the couch." He said, planting himself comfortably on the couch. We were both in the livingroom, still trying to get unpacked; or at least I was anyways.

"Are you going to sit there like a couch potato, or are you going to help?"

"I did all the driving, can I get a break?" He asked. I gave him a look. "Ugh, fine." He moaned. I liked watching him suffer. It was...funny in a way.

When we were done unpacking, I popped in a horror movie while Micah made popcorn. When he got back, he returned with one bowl and sat right next to me. I gave up on caring about the distance on the couch since I had to face it; we were going to be spending a lot of time together.
