I stared at him, gripping to all my fright and keeping all the yells and screams inside me. I wanted to run, to wake up from this horrifying dream. But I was trapped. And this was the reality I had to face.
"Aren't you going to say something?" He asked curiously.
"Um...." I was a little reluctant to say anything. Any wrong word or move and I could be killed.
"Don't be shy." He said, taking one step at a time. Closer and closer to me. I was scared and terrified of what was yet to come.
"H-hi." Was all I could get out. I was shaking. This time, it wasn't because of being frightened, he was now standing over my tied up body. He was so cold. I felt his cold fingers slide down my cheek, then gently punching back a strand of my loose, brown hair.
"I'm not going to hurt you. Not yet anyways."
Yet. That word made my blood turn cold as I heard it slip from his lips and into my ears.
"What do you want from me?" I demanded.
"Just want to ask a few questions is all. What do you remember?"
I was bitten by someone, no, a monster, and then blacked out as I entered this hideous asylum.
"Nothing, I don't remember anything." I tried to say convincingly.
"Lies!" He shouted. I nearly jumped out of my skin.
"I swear-" I started, but he cut me off.
"No! I can see through you're ice like eyes. You are lying. If you don't think I can tell the truth from a lie, then you better pray." He threatened.
My body shook uncontrollably as he yelled.
I watched his chocolate eyes turn slowly but surely into a firey orange color. A different color blood flowing through his veins. He turned away quickly and ran to a corner of the room. Leaning towards the wall with both hands grasping the surface. I was curious to what just happened.
"That will be all for now." He struggled to say. With that, the latch of the door clicked. The hinges creaked, and the door latched shut. Josh was nowhere in sight.
