(D_And_Yeahh, I think you will get the wherewolf picture dedicated to you in the next chapter...it will go better with the whole story...trying to make sense between the pictures for each chapter)
The creaking door woke me up; light peering in more and more. I sat up from my laying position to see who was there.
"Micah." I said. He looked down at me, grabbed my hand, and helped me to my feet.
"Miss me?" He asked with a smirk.
"Well, um....I kind of....uh..." I didn't know how to explain my situation of staring face to face with him while he was a wolf last night. If he knew I came out of the iron room, just once, Micah might get mad. My head was jumbled with possibilities and questions. But before I could think anymore, he awoke me from my thoughts.
"Angie," he began. Whoa, did he just call me by my name? I was expecting him to call me Sweetheart...maybe I've just been around his smartass for too long. "What do you mean?" He asked.
I sighed. "I might have....poked my head out of the iron room..."
"YOU WHAT?!" he screamed. I flinched as his strong deep voice echoed through the underground room. He continued. "DO YOU KNOW HOW MUCH DANGER YOU PUT YOURSELF IN?! WHY WOULD YOU EVEN THINK ABOUT DOING THAT?"
I didn't know how to react or what to say. All I could do was stare. Stare into his worried sick, deep, dark eyes. It was a moment that we hadn't had since the walk to the lake when we had first arrived at the mountain. The Vampires would surely be coming as soon as they found our location. If not sooner.
"I just don't want to see you get hurt. In any way, shape, or form." Micah whispered. He leaned in slowly and kissed me on the cheek. I was relieved he wasn't that angry. I should have listened to him in the first place. "Let's go back to the cabin. You must be hungry."
We started walking on the trail which led to the house. I guess it was really more like a cabin, but just calling it a house made it seem more like home. We talked on the way.
"So, do you remember anything from last night?" I asked.
"It's all a blur, but I do remember a girl; you. After I transform back into human form, it's like I've just woken up from a dream. My dad said the more I change the less painful it will be to transform, and the more control I'll have while a wolf. Being a wherewolf isn't hard, but it sure as hell isn't easy." After Micah explained, he stopped dead in his tracks amongst the decaying leaves.
"What? What is it?"
I watched him as he flicked his head left, away from me, and stared. His eyes shocked like he had just seen a ghost.
"Micah?" Now I was getting concerned
"Angie," he began as he looked at me, "we don't have much time." We began walking again, but this time more quickly.
"Micah, what do you mean?"
"My dad...he said that if you start feeling dizzy, sick, hallucinating, throwing up or if your head starts to hurt....I won't have a choice....or else...you will die." His pupils shocked. His whole face in fear. I could tell he was afraid of losing me. And I was afraid of losing him.
