I woke up to the stench of decay. All I saw was black until I was blinded by the bright light that flickered on. I looked around at my surroundings and was in this jail-celled type room. Four cemented walls, one with an old wooden door. There was a hole in shape of a square with bars on the door. I suddenly had a terrible itch on my nose and tried to reach the itch but I couldn't move. I struggled to move my limbs but it was useless. Even the leather straps were tied tightly around my ribs. I was trapped. But how? How did I get here? In this cell like prison? The last person I saw was Daniel. He would come and save me, surely. He always came at the right time, but maybe not this time.
The door screeched open as a woman entered. She was tall, but not too tall. She had short, pitch black hair with hazel eyes and the skin of a ghost. As her foot steps drew near me, I heard the echo of her heels against the cement floor. I could feel the throbbing of my heart, beating against my ribs. The woman spun around and eyed me as if I was a whole other species.
"So you are the new meat." The woman said with a sly tone.
"Where am I?" I asked, my voice was shaken and I was sweating like a pig in summer. I was shaking and I looked like a mess.
"You have no clue. Do you?" She sounded rather surprised. All I remembered was running then being carried into an unfamiliar building. Then thats when I blacked out.
"No."
"Well then. I guess Josh will be quite surprised when he finds out."
Josh? Who's Josh? What will he find out? Where am I? Why am I here? What is going to happen to me? Will these people torture me? Am I going to come out alive?
All these thoughts were running through my head. I was scared. I was very scared and I didn't know what was coming next.
The woman walked out the door, leaving me in the empty room. But the room wasn't empty for long.
A tall, muscular man who I suppose was Josh came in. There was no way I was going to make it out alive. There was just no way. He had golden, brown hair and dark, brown eyes. His face was pale and his muscles tensed as he caught a glimpse of me.
"Hello. I'm Josh." He said with a smile.
