Micha's pov.

I walked over to Angie with the cup of tea in my hands. It was warm and smelled like herbs. She opened her eyes as the steam and scent filled the room.

"Here, but be careful. It's still hot." I handed the cup to her. She gladly took it but i guess she didnt hear me.

"Ouch!" She said as she took a sip of the steaming drink. She brought her hand up to her lip to attempt to inspect the burn.

"I told you so." I chuckled.

"Jerk." She looked at me with that sweet, sweet face of hers. God, if only I had the guts just to ask her out or something. Who am I kidding though, She wouldn't want me. I'm as wrong for her as she is me. "Are you just gonna stand there and stare at me all day or are you going to come over here and sit with me?"

I was a little startled. She wanted me to come sit with her. Next to her. Beside her. Even after I almost killed her. What? Am I dreaming or something? I was hesitant at first, but decided it couldn't hurt just to sit next to someone who I liked a lot.

"Hey, Angie?" I asked as I sat down beside her. Looking at the beautiful creature like she was a drug.

"Yeah?"

"So when the wherewolves fight the vamps, if the wherewolves dont kill them all, then I'll have to hide you. You're the thing they're after. Even though you are one of us now, they'll still try to go after you. If they catch you, they will take you and run experiments on you to find ways to destroy our whole species. Thats how they learned what to harm us with in the past. Especially because you're new and were a human. They will stop at nothing to find you."

Angie was stunned. Her facial expression locked. Her eyes frozen in time. I tried to make it seem not as bad as it would be, but now I think I should've just shut my mouth.

"What...? What about you? Where will you go? What will happen to you?" Her face was suddenly worried. She looked like she just got told her family died or her dog ran away or like she was terrified of something.

"I'll be fine. Don't worry. Everything will be okay." I assured her.

"No, I am going to worry. What if you get killed? What if they catch me?" Her voice broke and she started crying. Every drop that rolled down her face seemed like happiness that rolled away with every tear. I pulled her into a hug. I put my arms tightly around her like I never wanted to lose her. Like I never wanted to let her go. I kissed the top of her forehead. Her hair smelled like flowers. Fresh, sweet flowers.

After about 5 minutes, I pulled away to look at her. Looked at the amount of beauty in front of me. And looked straight into her eyes.

"I love you." I whispered. She was quiet for a moment.

"That won't fix the damage that has been done or that is coming." I wiped the tear that began sliding down her cheek.

"I promise that everything will be okay." I stared at her for a long time.

I hope I knew what was about to happen.
