Chills filled the air. I heard faint whispers from the other side of the door. Footsteps shifting their every move. Finally, I heard the wooden door's latch open and it's hinges creak. The woman that was in the room earlier stepped in, followed by a man. Not Josh. He was too tall to be Josh. He had golden hair and green sea eyes. His face was pale, just like the woman and Josh.
"So who do we have here? Whats you're name?" The man asked.knowing what happened the last time I didn't answer a question or I lied, I gave the honest truth...or tried to anyways.
"A-Angie." I was a little frightened, I had to admit. But I wasn't about to die for not answering their stupid questions.
"Hello Angie. My name is Victor. This is my...friend...Sarah." I looked to where Sarah was and she smiled and nodded as if she was trying her best to be nice
"Hi." I replied looking at her evil eyes.
"I suppose you already met Josh. Sensing the look on your face when we came in. We are going to ask you a few more questions, have you take a test, and then show you around. I think you will find this place rather interesting. I also hope you will stick around to be part of the family.
Family? What family? What do you mean by a test? I have to take a test on what?
"What is your most recent memory?" Sarah asked.
"Being brought into a building. Then I blacked out." I responded.
"How old are you?"
"16."
"Who was the last person you saw before you awoke?"
"My friend, Daniel."
There was a few moments of silence. I moved my head left to see what Sarah was doing. She just stood there like she was having a flash back of some kind. Victor broke the silence.
"That will be all for now. Thank you. We will send in someone to help you get unstrapped and dressed into something more presentable." Victor explained.
Really? Do I look that bad? What's wrong with shorts, a tank top and Ugg boots? Were they really that worried of how I looked?
The next thing I knew, I was alone. Waiting for that person who was coming to help me. Then the door opened, yet again.
A tall, muscular, dark brown haired guy came in and walked over to me. For some reason, all my fear seemed to dismiss itself. I felt a little less scared and terrified. He had bright blue eyes that made his pale face brighten as if it were a star in the lonely, dark night sky.
"Hi." He said, waking me from my daydream. He had this hands-on tone . In his voice. It made my heart melt.
"Uh...um...hi." I stumbled. I never stumbled, especially while talking to people. Very attractive people I might add. But maybe that was because I didn't have practice on talking to boys.
He laughed lightly while trying to hold half of it in. It was a cute laugh, not just a fake laugh. Maybe he thought it was funny how I stumbled with my words. Or how ridiculous I looked just now. He was standing right beside me and I could feel his coldness. His every breath. He reached over me with his muscular arms as they reacted to his every movement. He unstrapped me, handling me with care like I was a priceless jewel.
"There." He said, undoing the last strap.
"Thanks." I said.
"No problem. Oh, and here are your clothes. I'll be waiting just outside the door." He said with an unbelievable smile.
He walked towards the door and found himself where he said he would be. I put on the skinny jeans and t-shirt like I was ordered to by Victor. The outfit was nice. It wasn't too bad looking and it wasn't too small or big. I put on the black all star shoes that the boy brought.
When I was done, I walked towards the door and opened it. I found myself looking up into a pair of dreamy blue eyes.
