The night had gotten...interesting. Not only was Yoongi black out drunk before the show had even ended, but so was Jungkook's date.
Poor girl was downing shots after shots of all types of liquor since they had arrived.

The tall blonde had excused herself to the bathroom and when she hadn't returned after two songs Areum could see the worry and confusion on Jungkook's face from across the table as he had his phone out, most likely texting and calling her but it didn't look like she was picking up.

Without being asked, Areum made her way to the bathroom to look for the girl, only to find her passed out with her head laying on the seat of the toilet, vomit in the toilet bowl and on the side of her mouth.

Areum cringed in disgust but knew she couldn't just leave her there. Cleaning her up a bit then asking for help from another older women who had just walked into the bathrooms.

They were able to escort the half conscious girl back to the table, only to now see Jungkook patting Yoongi's back as the older puked into a trash can near the bar and from the look on the bartenders faces, it was definitely time to leave.

Somehow they were able to get the two heavily drunken pair into the backseat of Yoongi's car. Yoongi had insisted he was perfectly fine to drive but thankfully Jungkook had confiscated his keys and had taken the role of designated driver for the rest of the night.

And obviously he was going to have to help Areum get Yoongi out of the car after they drop off his 'date' because Yoongi was already passed out in the back and no way was Areum gonna be able to hold him up by herself.

About two hours had passed before they were able to find his dates apartment. She was too incoherent to respond to either one of their questions, she hadn't brought a purse or wallet and her phone had a passcode and since this was kind of a blind date and Jungkook had met up with her at the bar... he had no idea where she lived.

Thankfully one of her roommates had called the girls phone and Areum answered, explained the situation and finally the roommates were able to provide them their address.

After dropping her off safety, it was now nearing one in the morning and maybe because it was Saturday night but traffic was backing up on the highway leaving them to be stuck right in the middle of it, moving barely at all or the fastest, 10 mph while the snores from Yoongi in the backseat echoed inside the silent car.

Minutes that felt like hours had passed and they were still sitting still on the highway, Jungkook cleared his throat, breaking the awkward silence.

"Thanks for helping me with my, Um. Date? tonight... if you hadn't been there and gone to check on her, I probably would have assumed she skipped out on the date and I would've left"

He scratched the back of this neck and looked over at Areum with an embarrassed smile. She looked in the side mirror at the dozens of cars behind them, briefly wondering how long they were going to be stuck here before replying.

"It was no problem. She seemed....nice" Jungkook couldn't help but to bark out a laugh at Areum's words causing her to look at him wide-eyed.

Jungkook knew for a fact that Areum and the girl hadn't talked all night. Shoot, he barely even talked to her, himself.
