Jimin. Not completely oblivious but choosing to ignore the awkward tension between Areum and Taehyung, plopped himself down in the seat that was previously occupied by Ji before she left for class.

Leaving two empty seats on either side of him, the table was circle shaped so whoever takes the seat on Jimin's left side would be sitting next to Yoongi and taking the seat on Jimin's right, would be sitting next to her...

"Is it cool if we sit?" Taehyung asked, more towards Areum than Yoongi. She bit back a scoff at his question, did he think she would say no? Just because they weren't together anymore it didn't change the fact they both shared the same friends and she wasn't going to be the bitter ex and make those friend's choose sides.

She raised her shoulders and gestured towards the seats as a way to say 'go ahead' without actually saying a word. Taehyung for obvious reasons took the chair between Jimin and Yoongi, leaving Jungkook to occupy the seat next to Areum.

Yoongi was the first to speak up as he looked over at Jungkook. "Who's this?"

Everyone but Areum looked over at Jungkook who's expression resembles a frighten child. He tried to remain unbothered by the tightening feeling inside his stomach and chest but he couldn't stop himself from chewing on his lower lip and shaking his right leg up and down caused by the amount of anxiety he was currently feeling.

"Oh! this is my younger brother Jungkook. Jungkook, this is Yoongi and I think you remember Areum?" Taehyung gleamed as he introduced his little brother proudly. Taehyung had shared multiple stories about him and his brother growing up to almost all of his friends so he was excited to introduce Jungkook to everyone.

Jungkook and Taehyung had always had a close sibling relationship despite only technically being half brothers as they don't share the same father. But that didn't mean they loved each other any less.

Yoongi's head perked up at the realization of who Jungkook was; remembering Tae's many stories of his sibling.

"Nice to finally meet you kid. Tae's told me so much about you" Yoongi kindly greeted the wide-eyed boy who unintentionally kept side glancing at Areum as she kept her gaze on her phone checking her schedule from what Yoongi could see from his seat.

Jungkook slightly bowed his head towards the older boy with a sheepish and slight uncomfortable smile before his heart got stuck in his throat as Areum finally looked up at him and met his gaze.

"It's nice to see you again, Jungkook" She spoke softly as she sent him a small smile then redirected her gaze towards the black-haired guy sitting on her right who was complaining about his schedule.

'Nice to see me again... Was she talking about Saturday night?' Jungkook mentally rolled his eyes at himself for his foolish thoughts, 'Of course she wasn't hinting towards that night, she was talking about before she left for college idiot!'

His self argument was interrupted when she stood up and the familiar smell of sweet vanilla and honey that he now could identify as her, filled his senses.

Areum slung her pastel blue backpack over her shoulder as she announced she would be heading to class more to Yoongi than the others then hastily started walking out of the café before he could even say bye.

As soon as the door closed behind her as she stepped out, she felt like she could finally breathe. Seeing Taehyung, after months of not talking to the person who she had spent five years of her life with was one thing but seeing Jungkook, who she had slept with not even two days ago was a whole other problem in it's own.

Earlier this morning when she had realized it was Jungkook she had sat next to in their public speaking class. She wasn't surprised at the fluttering feeling in her stomach but she had just passed it off as embarrassment from seeing him for the first time after what had happened, especially since she literally ran out of the room without a word.

But seeing him right now, in the casual white oversized shirt, blue ripped jeans and timberland shoes, holding his black hoodie he was wearing this morning. Standing next to Taehyung, who's presence used to send a rush of butterflies to not only Areum's stomach but also her heart.

It caught her off guard that the familiarity of sweaty palms and her increased heartbeat wasn't caused by her ex boyfriend but was instead a reaction to Jungkook sitting so close to her.

Areum tried to distract herself by pretending to check her already memorized class schedule only until Taehyung had introduced Jungkook to Yoongi and had brought up her already knowing his younger brother as if this was their first time seeing each other for over a year... only if he knew they had already reacquainted recently.

She didn't want to be rude towards Jungkook at Taehyung's expense since he was acting like he didn't dump her and break her heart to pieces, and was now acting as if they were normal friends who had never had a relationship before.

She made the mistake of looking into his eyes as she kindly greeted him acting like this was their first meeting because obliviously Jungkook didn't tell Taehyung anything.

But the way his chocolate brown eyes were starring back at her and the way he was biting his lip so nervously sent her mind and body into a slight panic before she felt her face starting to heat up at her flustered state.

She HAD to get out of there before she made an even bigger fool of herself.

Areum hadn't even taken more than five steps down the sidewalk before the doors to the café opened up and the familiar voice called her name making her stop dead in her tracks. He caught up fairly quickly, speaking his next words in almost a plea when he finally stood in front of her.

"Can we talk?"
