Jungkook had just gotten out of the shower after his intense workout of the week when his phone rang with a call from an unknown number. Usually, he wouldn't have bothered to answer but considering the fact it was super late. He figured it wasn't just a telemarketer.

"Jungkoooook" He heard on the other side of the line. He sighed.

"Finally got a new phone?" Jungkook guessed.

"Do you know how tortious it is not to have a phone for almost two weeks? - Wait, how did you know it was me?" Mia questioned as if it wasn't obvious.

"Who else drunkenly calls my phone at one in the morning on a Friday night?"

"That's where you're wrong!" Mia giggled. "Not drunk! but maybe a little stoned" She corrected before letting out a loud cough.

"Well, I'm glad you're having fun?" He scrunched his eyebrows together in annoyance and just about pulled his phone away from his ear to hang up but Mia started loudly speaking again.

"C'mon don't be mad Jungkook! It's not like you've never gotten high before! Remember prom night?"

He was sure her eyebrows were wiggling up and down, matching the teasing tone she was using to speak. And no, he didn't remember prom night. Well, he remembered getting ready, picking Mia up, and going but... after sneaking into the boy's locker room with a bunch of their friends to smoke some cheap weed. The rest of the night was blurry.

"I'm not mad. You're a grown adult who can do whatever she wants. Just want you to be careful is all." He mumbled the last part as he put on some clothes to sleep in and walked over to the dirty hamper to throw his towel in.

"That's sweet. Thanks for always worrying about me Kookie" And Mia meant it genuinely. "But now I think it's my turn to be worried about you."

"What are you talking about?"

"Don't play dumb with me" Mia teased before he heard a loud inhale and an exaggerated exhale followed by a loud cough. "You're lucky it took me a while to call you but now it's time to fess up."

"There's nothing to fess up to and It sounds like you're busy."

He guessed Mia was still at some party considering the music and multiple voices in the background, though he also assumed she must be sitting somewhere alone or further from the crowd because it all did sound a bit muffled.
