College football season had finally come to an end. Areum and her friends didn't exactly keep up with the games itself and couldn't tell you if their school had won or lost.... but they did enjoy the parties!

A bonfire party that was being thrown to celebrate the football teams hardworking season was already in full swing down at the local beach. Everyone was invited, as long as you brought your own beer and didn't cause any trouble.

Areum, Ji, Namjoon and Yoongi had gotten to the beach hours ago so they could swim while the sun was still up. Now, the sun was setting as they snuggled against their towels. The small fire they built for themselves, slowly drying their swim suits.

The two bigger fires a few feet away from them would probably get the job done quicker. But more and more students were starting to arrive and started to crowd around the flames as they drank or flirted. The group of five were perfectly fine relaxing on the sand and enjoyed the heat from the small fire by themselves.

They were listening intently to Yoongi's cousins words as he explained what it was like going to college abroad as a dancer. This was their first time meeting the bright smiled and ridiculously funny man named Hoseok.
Apparently he was visiting his family for the weekend, so Yoongi had invited him along for the night.

The whole group laughed as he told another one of his embarrassing stories about how he was dancing on stage for a showcase and had ripped his pants during the beginning of the performance but had to act like nothing had happened even though his bright blue underwear was fully exposed.

"Look who finally showed up!" Namjoon shouted, the rest, turned around to see who he was yelling towards.

Jimin and Taehyung were walking up towards them, both pulling along a small ice chest of their own as they walked through the sand.

"We made a last minute beer stop! We had to stop at three different stores before we found the brand you guys asked for" Jimin grumbled jokingly as they finally reached the group.

Immediately beers were being handed out and the newcomers were being introduced to Yoongi's cousin. Taehyung had pulled out a six-pack of strawberry Smirnoff seltzer from his ice chest and held one out to Areum.

She looked at the drink then up at Taehyung before reaching for the can and offering him a quick thanks.

"I know you don't usually like beer.... So I grabbed a pack of those, hopefully they're good"

Taehyung spoke quickly before turning back around towards the ice chest and grabbed a beer for himself then making his way to sit next to Yoongi on the other side of the fire.

Areum quickly shook her head of the thoughts that started to come to light in her mind. There was no need to overthink that interaction, he was just being nice! Just like he had been the last few weeks.

Running into each other at a few parties was a good example. They were always polite with greeting each other. Awkwardly, but still polite.

And even a few times when the group met up at the coffee shop in the mornings, they had a few light conversations. They weren't exactly best friends but it was nice, now to see him as maybe..... an acquaintance?
