"Don't you dare!" Areum warned, taking backward steps as fast as she could but the water continued to slow down her escape since she was currently knees deep in the ocean.

"Why are you running from me Areum?!" Ji laughed as she quickened her steps forward. The moonlight reflecting over the dark water, giving her just enough light to make out Areum's figure.

Ji's fingers grazing the water, threatening to splash her best friend who was currently sending death glares her way as she tried to widen their distance.

It was only fair since Areum had splashed water at Ji first a few seconds ago...

Areum heard the splash before it hit her. A quick shriek escaped her lips as the cold water drenched the right side of her body. A few drops of the salty seawater managing to land on her tongue.

Her face scrunching in disgust as she shouted. "You ass! I didn't get you that much!" While continuing to try to spit out the nasty, salty taste in her mouth.

A hard laugh was let out by Ji as she quickly ran out of the water and back to shore before Areum could retaliate. "Wimp" Areum grumbled to herself then proceeded to follow her out, just in time to hear the scolding from Namjoom.

"This is exactly why I told you two not to go in there" Ji was trembling as Namjoon put his blazer over her shoulders. Shaking his head in disapproval as he looked over at the other troublemaker coming out of the water.

"Okay, dad" Ji playfully rolled her eyes and attempted to walk away from his grasp but Namjoon quickly pulled her back against his chest.

Smirk on his lips and a suggestive look in his eyes as he whispered."I didn't know you had a daddy kink?" Then, not so subtly squeezed her ass through her small yellow sundress.

The scene was enough to make Areum jokingly gag as she made her way towards the two. But the shivers overpowered her disgust. The wind was starting to pick up fairly quickly.

"I only brought one jacket. So either you suffer until you get back to your room or you ask Jk for his"

"Didn't he already call it a night?"

She looked around and there was no sign of the boy anywhere. Areum assumed he must have left when she and Ji decided to get in the water to wet their feet.

"No. He got a call and the waves were too loud so he went up the dock to hear better. He said he'd be right back" Namjoon explained while hugging Ji closer to him to keep her warm.

Envious of the warmth Ji was receiving, despite Areum being the one who was half drenched... she hoped he would return quickly. It didn't matter if he wanted her to use his jacket or not. She was taking that jacket.

"It's almost three in the morning... hopefully it's not an emergency" Ji added with a worried glance towards the direction he must have gone towards and Areum's stomach immediately filled with worry.

As if the gods above had answered Areum's prayers. Jungkook was making his way back down the wooden stairs that led to the beach. "What happened to you?" He laughed out as he made his way closer. Taking in Areum's half wet and half dry appearance.
