"Can I ask you a question?"

Areum was sat next to Jungkook on an old wooden bench, giving them the perfect view of the sky-bridge and a few feet away, a beautiful waterfall that neither of them had noticed up until now.

"Mmhm" she hummed in response, a spoonful of vanilla bean ice cream was currently occupying her mouth at the moment.

"I noticed you kept saying you had to cross the bridge. What did you mean by that?"

Swallowing the sweet dessert, she wiped the sides of her mouth before speaking. Making sure there wasn't any leftover ice cream smeared around her mouth.

"It's a little silly" She answered with a sheepish smile.

"Well, now I want to hear"

He sat up in attention. Like a good student would do as their teacher began their lesson. Areum playfully slapped his arm and of course, he dramatically winced and held the spot she just hit.

"I made a bucket list..." She whispered, looking down and feeling a bit embarrassed.

"I'm sorry, can you speak louder?" Jungkook jokingly leaned his head closer towards her, his ear right in front of her face.

"A bucket list!" She yelled a little louder. Jungkook winced and jerked his head away all while rubbing his ear, sending her a fake glare.

"Bucket list?" He questioned despite the ringing in his ear. She gave a quick nod then went back to eating her ice cream assuming the conversation had ended there. But feeling that weirdly uncomfortable shiver up her spine, telling her someone was watching her. She glanced back up and found Jungkook's eyes still set on her with an expecting stare.

"What?" She asked, wondering why he was looking at her like that?

"That's it? That's all you're going to tell me about it?" Areum was surprised by how offended he sounded. It wasn't anything exciting, so she didn't see any reason to elaborate.

"It's just a list" She shrugged her shoulders. "Maybe Four or five things? I don't know! It's kind of dumb" She couldn't help but laugh at herself and him.

"What's on the list?"

"Why do you want to know what's on my list?"

He held his finger against his chin like he was in deep thought before replying. "Might just start my own bucket list. Maybe yours will give me some ideas on what to put on mine?"

"Nice try" Areum rolled her eyes then stood up to throw away her empty Baskin robins cup.

"Is this it?!" She heard Jungkook gasp in surprise. She turned around to discover him holding a folded piece of paper. There's no way... Her hands flew to the small fanny pack around her waist. It was opened! A trail of travel-size sunscreen, lip balm, A tampon, and a scrunchie were leading back to her seat on the bench.

She darted towards her items on the floor and hastily shoved them back into her fanny pack. Jungkook was more concerned about the paper he was unfolding. Areum quickly reached for the folded note but Jungkook was faster, standing up and using his height in advantage to hold it over her head.
