"Tae?" Jungkook's voice rang through Taehyung's ears. He blinked at the call of his name, he hadn't even noticed he was just standing there, starring.

Areum was just about to leave, remembering she had to go back to her dorm and study for an upcoming test on Monday and
she hadn't even slept. Her and Jungkook had spent the night watching movies after movie.

He had ended up dozing off during the last movie but Areum was too interested in the crime documentary playing on the screen to even think about getting some rest.

The sun was already up and her phone had beeped, showing a reminder to spend a couple of hours hitting the books. She regretfully woke up Jungkook and told him she had to go, not wanting to just be rude and leave.

By the time she had gathered her things and had wished Jungkook a good day as he headed to the bathroom, that's when she heard someone knock on his door and was met with the very confused looking Taehyung.

"You're kidding me right?" Taehyung asked. Almost laughing in disbelief as the two just starred at him, returning the same confused expression he just had on his face.

"What are you talking about? Kidding about what?" Jungkook had finally spoken up. Walking behind Areum, who was still standing directly in front of his brother.

"You know exactly what I'm talking about Kook"

"I actually gotta go, so I'll see you guys later" Areum said. Not waiting for either to reply as she slipped her way past Taehyung and down the hall to leave.

She did not have time for whatever was about to happened and if it was important, one of the would've stopped her.

Not waiting for an invite into the room, Taehyung walked in and shut the door behind him. Looking around to see if there was anything to prove his suspicion right, but the only thing he could see that would be classified as a 'hint', was the unmade bed.

"Why do you look so pissed off? What's wrong? Jungkook asked. He could feel the angry tension loud and clear as Taehyung sent him a death glare as he turned to face him.

"What's wrong with me?! Don't you think I should be asking what's wrong with you!" The loud volume of his voice startled Jungkook a bit but he quickly recovered before shouting back.

"Dude! What's your problem?!"

"My problem is that you fucked my ex last night!"

"What?!" Jungkook laughed, obviously not understanding where Taehyung got that crazy idea from.

"Don't lie to me Jungkook. One of the guys told me he heard you two going at it last night! What the fuck, man?" Taehyung was red with anger but trying to hold back as much as he could.

"I did not have sex with Areum last night! I mean yeah, she stayed in here but that was it" It was true, he didn't fuck Areum last night... "What they probably heard was us having a pillow fight" Yeah, that definitely didn't sound convincing, He thought as the words left his mouth.

"Do you honestly expect me to believe that?" Taehyung rolled his eyes and crossed his arms over his chest.

"It's true. You can even ask her if you want" There was no sign on Jungkook's face that said he was lying.

Taehyung knew all his tells. Like, biting his bottom lip or bouncing his leg. Taehyung plopped on the edge of the bed and ran his hands over his face while letting out a long breath. What was he thinking?

"I'm sorry" the older brother let out in defeat. Jungkook walked over and sat next to him, pondering his own thoughts about coming clean.

Even though he hadn't slept with her last night... He had been intimate with her before and as much as he wanted to feel like shit for lying to his brother about it. He didn't regret it and he didn't think he was ever going to.

"I know you wouldn't do that to me" Taehyung patted Jungkook on the shoulder and sent him a sympathetic smile. Taehyung knew his brother would never hurt him that way.

"I guess I'm not used to hearing about her being with other people yet, you know? At the beach they were talking about some guy she had met at a party and I get it. I'm the one who broke up with her but hearing about her and other guys kind of makes my stomach hurt if that makes sense? And when I came upstairs and saw her in here with you... I don't know, I just freaked out and felt betrayed. I didn't even think to ask questions first"

That definitely made Jungkook feel like shit, but also pissed off. Why was it okay for him to dump her and fuck around with other girls but with Areum it's different. That wasn't right at all.

"So what are you gonna do when she meets someone else? It's your fault for breaking up with her" He didn't mean to sound so defensive but he couldn't stop himself from feeling pissy.

He had trusted his brother to love her. To take care of her. Yes he was basically only a kid but, he put his feelings aside in hopes his brother would treat her the way he would have treated her if she were his.

But she wasn't... she didn't want him, she wanted Taehyung. So he let it be, he wanted her to be happy and he thought Taehyung was going to do that but unfortunately he was wrong.

"Yeah, you're right. It is my fault for letting her go" Taehyung stood up, stretching his arms over his head before beginning to walk out, only to stop and look back towards Jungkook when he got to the door.

"Sorry again for being such a dick, but also, thanks for talking with me" A weak smile was flashed before he walked out completely and closed the door behind him, leaving Jungkook alone in his room with nothing but his thoughts.
