Like any other time, Jungkook and Areum just couldn't flat-out talk about things. Well, they could but when it came to the topic of them together. That's when things got a bit more awkward with both of them turning into nervous jittery messes.

They tried to talk like normal adults but that wasn't going anywhere since neither one was sure where to even start. So, they just decided to do what they know best... Question games! At first, the questions were more basic, such as are either of them seeing anyone seriously. That was answered no by both. The next question was are either of them sleeping with other people? Another no. Though, that question did spark a little conversation about wanting to be safe against STDs and stuff like that!

And the last question was turning the topic of not sleeping with other people at all if they were going to continue because of the fact sometimes they don't use condoms. Yes, even though Areum was on birth control, it was still a bit risky. They didn't not use condoms all the time but... Only when they both were impatient, and protection wasn't around- Which has only happened a hand full of times!

Other than that, there wasn't much else to discuss. That was until Jungkook insisted he had one last question before they got into setting any kind of rules officially.

"Okay, my turn again. And don't be scared to tell the truth, okay?" Jungkook sat up straighter and rubbed the back of his neck. "Do you still love my brother?"

"Wow, way to keep it light huh?" Areum choked a bit. That was a loaded and completely unexpected question but, honesty was promised to be kept during this whole conversation.

"I don't think so."

"Okay how about I rephrase?" He waited for her approval, and she nodded giving him the green light. "If Taehyung decided he wanted to work things out. Would you give it a chance?"

If anything, Areum thought this question was harder than the loved one. And a lot of thought process would need to be put into these. If she had to be honest, there weren't any answers she could give right now that would satisfy either of them that's for sure.

"As much as I want to say no. It's also not a firm yes either." She saw the way Jungkook's shoulders slumped a bit and her immediate thought was to assure him she wasn't but again! He asked for honesty...

"I'm not saying if he asked me tomorrow, I'd drop everything and get back with him. What I'm trying to say is it's a lot more complicated. Like I'd have to see if my feelings were even still the same for him or what kind of person he is now because he sure as hell isn't the same person he was when he used to be with me." She took a deep breath and continued.

"It would be a decision that would need time and space to figure out because he was my first love, but sometimes first loves were meant to just be that, and other times they are harder to shake off and, in this situation, I'm not a hundred percent certain which one I'm in."

Jungkook's eyes were wide the whole time she ranted. Areum was too scared to look at him but the small glimpse she couldn't help but make had her worried.

"Thank you for being honest with me" He cleared his throat.

"Is it my turn now?" She didn't even have another question in mind, just wanted to get off of this topic immediately.
