"Wear this!" Ji suggested as she held up one of the outfits she had brought from her room. Right now, Areum was trying to find something nice to wear for tonight because she's supposed to be grabbing a drink with Mason, but not something too nice. Areum didn't consider it a date, so she wasn't trying to wear date clothes.

"Oo!" Areum exclaimed as she dropped one of the shirts she had in her hands back into her suitcase and reached for the outfit in Ji's hands. "This is so pretty!" She held the outfit at arm's length so she could get a good look at the whole thing. It was the kind of casual but still nice-looking style she was looking for. Floral print over a dark red butterfly sleeve top that would show a bit of her stomach and the same pattern on the polyester material shorts.

"Maybe do some beach wave curls? I can do your makeup!" Ji offered as she made her way into the bathroom to grab Areum's makeup bag. When she came back out, she misunderstood the hesitant look on Areum's face. "Don't worry! You'll be ready in time for your date"

"It's not a date" Areum corrected, then sat on the edge of the bed, due to Ji's gesturing for her to take a seat while Ji, herself set up the makeup and started priming Areum's face.

"No? He's cute though"

"I didn't say he wasn't cute" She retorted and rolled her eyes at Ji's raised brow. "Plus, he didn't call it a date and I think you're forgetting the fact that Mason is a stranger"

"Oh, I didn't forget about that. Which is why I'm going to call you exactly twenty minutes after you leave and if you don't answer I'm going to track your phone and go crazy mama on you!" Some people may take that as a joke but Areum knew Ji's wasn't joking and she wasn't going to try to test out that theory, so she reminded herself to leave her ringer on.

"Is it so bad if you consider it a date?"

"It seems like you want me to go on a date more than I want to go on a date" Areum suggested with a giggle following along, then was quickly scolded for moving her face when Ji was trying to contour.

"I think you meant to say, wow, my best friend in the whole wide world wants me to be happy because that's exactly what I want for you"

"And going on a date with an attractive Australian college guy is going to make me happy?"

"Hey, you're the one that said yes to the date..."

"You're hilarious! I said yes to a drink" Areum retorted with an annoyed huff. How many more times was she going to have to say it isn't a date before people start to believe her!
