The drive was nice. The windows rolled down and the wind blowing as they drove down the open road. An amazing playlist blasting through the speakers and singing along at the top of their lungs, despite sounding like dying cats.

They were probably scaring poor little Jungkook who was sitting quietly in the passenger seat as Areum drove. Areum had noticed Jungkook being a little too quiet early on in the drive but she passed it off, thinking he was probably shy or getting into the feel of the chaotic energy around him.

This was his first time hanging out with just her and her friends by himself without Taehyung, Jimin, or Yoongi around. He seemed more closer and comfortable around those three, so she figured he was just a bit hesitant to fully let loose around people he barely knew.

It was such a relief to see there wasn't much traffic. That was something she had been worried about last night. Getting stuck in the middle of still traffic and missing their reservation but it seemed now, they were going to be arriving before check-in time.

With more than enough time to spare and the whines and groans from the two in the backseat claiming to be starving... They stopped at a small diner alongside the road.

The parking lot was quite full of cars. That was a good sign, probably meant the food was good if these many people were here. It was such a cute little place, it had a vintage 80's aesthetic. Kind of like the diners you seen in the movie Grease or the show Saved by the bell!

Areum whipped out her phone to take pictures of whatever caught her eye. She loved taking photos. She had always been told she had quite a talent for photography but she just enjoyed it as a small hobby.

They were seated fairly quickly, which was impressive since the place was even more packed inside it seemed. Sitting in such a diner, Areum thought it was only right to order a burger, fries, and a milkshake.

Everyone else ordered their boring food and the waitress walked away to put in their order. Just as she moved out of the way, Areum noticed the Jukebox a few feet away and gasped at its beauty.

"I wonder if it works! Any of you have change?!" She asked after reaching into her pockets to check but she only had her debit card.

Ji and Namjoon also came up empty but Jungkook silently handed over 75 cents in quarters. She practically squealed in her seat before getting up and gestured for Jungkook to follow her.

He hesitated a moment. Wondering why she wanted him to go with her but when he looked to the side, Namjoon and her roommate were giggling and talking in what seemed to be their little bubble.

It was probably better for him to go with Areum than to sit here by himself as they kissed and cuddled without acknowledging his presence. She had already put in the change and was flipping the pages with a button when he got to her side.

It had a lot of years to it but it was an interesting machine. "My grandpa used to have one of these" Areum said to Jungkook, not taking her eyes off of the window display that showed the names of the songs and the numbers you're supposed to enter if you want that certain song played.

"It was a little smaller than this one. I remember always playing with it. I think I ended up breaking it at one point because I loved watching the pages flip fast, I just kept pressing the button back and forth as fast as I could and one day the button just stopped working"
