"So... we're really up on a mountain huh?"

Areum swallowed the heavy lump in her throat before speaking. Taking in the view of her surroundings as she and Jungkook exited the shuttle bus that brought them and other guests up from the hotel. As stupid as it sounds, she didn't realize they would be this high up.

"Sky-bridges are usually connected between tall buildings or mountains, I'd say it makes sense they brought us up here" Jungkook answered nonchalantly while tightening the straps of his backpack so it wouldn't be hanging too low.

"So! Do you want to check out the shops around here first? Or go straight to the bridge?" He asked, looking over at Areum as she scanned the area while nibbling on her bottom lip.

Her eyes were bouncing from the sign that pointed where the Sky-bridge was located and the little market a few feet away that was attracting other tourists. Probably a souvenir shop, Jungkook suspected. She answered saying she wanted to check out the little shops near them first and hastily started walking away, leaving Jungkook hurrying to catch up.

About an hour and a half have passed since they have arrived and yet, they still haven't gotten anywhere near the bridge. Spending all of their time going from store to store. Jungkook mentioned there is another market on the other side of the bridge when he noticed Areum was buying one or multiple things from every store they walked into.

He thought, maybe she just really liked souvenirs? But then, another thought occurred to him. "Are you too scared to go on the bridge?"

"What?!" She turned away from the keychain she was looking at, despite already having bought two keychains from the previous store they just came from. She faced him, her arms crossed and eyebrows furrowed before scoffing out a laugh. "No! What makes you think that?"

"Well, you seem to be?" He tried to think of the right word. Avoiding? Yeah, that was a good word for it. "Anytime we get near the trail that leads to the bridge, you avoid it" He explained.

"No, I don't! I just want to see everything here before we go to the other side" she pouted, holding the six small bags that held all her souvenirs closer against her chest as they walked back outside.

"So you're going to buy something from every store on the other side too?"

"If they have nice things... Then yes!" She answered matter of factly. Following after Jungkook as he laughed at her and continued to walk forward.

She assumed he was walking to another store but when she finally caught up to Jungkook after yelling for him to slow down. She briefly paused and stayed as still as a statue when she realized exactly where he had led her to.

"I thought you weren't scared?" He teased after taking in her hesitation to walk any closer to the bridge ahead.
