Chapter 8

Finally after a while of driving, you look through the window just as you pull into a driveway, looking over to see a big open field with beautiful flowers and bushes with trees lined all around the field.

You then pull up in front of a huge mansion type of building, it was beautiful, yet somewhat eerie as well.

Your mother looks out your window as well to get a better view of the building

The vehicle then stops and you see two men emerge from the front doors of the building, coming down and walking to your door

One of the men open the door as the other grabs a hold of your hand, helping you exit the vehicle

"Thank you" you say lowly as you let go of the mans hand, then look up at the building

Your mother gets help with exiting the car as well and then the door shuts, the vehicle then driving away

"Right this way" one of the men say, grabbing your attention as he started walking up to the front doors of the building

Your mother places her hand on your back and gently leads you behind the men and to the front doors

The men open both of the front doors and allow you both to step inside

The place was clean and smelled very clean, yet the atmosphere was a bit dim, giving you once again another eerie vibe

A nurse then walks up with a bright smile

"Hello, you must be Y/n correct?" She says

You nod your head

"Alright, and you're her mother?" She says

"Yes" Your mother responds

"Alright, if you could just come with me really quickly to get her signed in-" she starts, then turns slightly to show her desk

"Oh sure" your mother responds, taking her hand off your back

"Great, Y/n you can just have a seat over there, this will only take a second." She says

You nod as you turn to the seats lined up at the wall

"Do you need anything by the way, are you alright?" She says quickly

"I'm fine." You say lowly towards her as you force a reassuring smile

"Alright" she says, smiling back

She then walks to her desk quickly as your mother follows behind

You then walk towards the seats, sitting down with a slight groan as you place your hand gently over your wound

As you begin to wait patiently for your mother to sign you in, you're eyes start to gaze around the space, looking at everything around you

You then hear the sound of a door opening, looking over to see two young girls, around your age maybe, emerge from the door

They quietly talked to each other as they began walking slowly

They both wore plain clothes and looked quite sleep deprived, each having emotionless expressions on their faces

Just then, one of the girls caught a glimpse at you, the second one looking over as well

They both had such dull and emotionless looks in their eyes, making you grow more and more uncomfortable

They then look away, walking away and disappearing within the back room of the building

"Y/n?" You hear a voice say, quickly grabbing your attention
