Hee Joon's POV-

Stepping out of my now parked car, I turn to face the office building as I shut my door behind me.

I could feel my adrenaline subtly begin to pick up again as I thought about the security camera footage...especially with now being able to see just how Moon Jo managed to escape in the first place.

Taking a deep breath in, I then forcefully exhale as I make my way towards the office doors.

I dreaded hearing anyone ask me how I was feeling, or even looking at me sympathetically for what happened to Min Ho.

But I knew I'd get all of it as soon as I opened those doors, immediately seeing one of my coworkers look over to me with wide eyes, now softening.

"Hee Joon...I'm so sor-" he begins to speak, yet I avoid his gaze as I turn and make my way down the halls.

Every coworker I passed had given me that same exact look, some opening their mouths to say something, yet quickly deciding after to just stay silent.

Exhaling deeply again, I do my best to hold my composure as I finally make my way to Chan's office, now stepping through the already open door.

There I saw Chan sitting at his desk along with our boss standing by his side, both of them concentrating heavily on Chan's computer before looking up to notice me.

"Hee Joon." Our boss says, Chan now slightly backing his chair away from his desk while our boss straightened his posture to look at me.

"Sir." I respond before bowing, now looking back up at him.

His expression softens as he sighs gently, now giving me that same sympathetic look.

"I would ask how you're holding up, but I know it's the last thing you'd want to hear right now." He speaks, Chan now looking up at him for a moment before looking back towards me.

I could only bring myself to nod.

"I have to ask, are you sure you want to be involved in this right now? The team is already doing everything possible, you are allowed to take some time to grieve, Hee Joon. To be with your family..." He continues.

Yet I shake my head no, now stepping a bit closer.

"No. This is where I need to be, I'll be alright." I responded.

"Alright then." Our boss sighs, now backing away slightly and raising his hand in the direction of Chan's computer.

"We already have the footage pulled up now." he finishes, now backing away more and allowing me to take his place next to Chan.

"Let me rewind it to the beginning." Chan speaks, pulling his chair closer to his desk and grabbing the computer mouse, now rewinding the video in front of us.

Our boss then shuts the door to the office and takes a seat in one of the two chairs in front of Chan's desk.

"There we go..." Chan whispers under his breath, now playing the footage.

Leaning a bit closer, I now see the scene playing out before me, starting with the Moon Jo being pulled out of his cell.

"Where are they taking him?" I ask, eyes never leaving the screen.

"One second..." Chan speaks, now making a few clicks before the next angle of the footage begins.

There I see the guards leading Moon Jo down the hallway to Dr. Jong-woo's office, now opening the door and taking him inside.
