Chapter 20

⚠️ Warning - Strong Language, murder and death...

Still Moon Jo's POV-

"What is happening?" Dr. Jong-woo says as he gets up, the guards turning around and opening the door.

Dr. Jong-woo rushes over to the door as well just as the sound of gunshots echos from down the hall.

Dr. Jong-woo's POV-

Stepping outside the room with both the guards beside me, we then notice a couple more guards now rushing down the hall.

"Put the place on lock down!" One of them yells out as they now rush to the downstairs door and open it, more gunshots along with screaming and banging now echoing through.

Moon Jo's POV-

Snapping my attention quickly back to the desk, I look back at the paper clip just as I hear Dr. Jong-woo yell again.

"What is happening?!" He screams down the hall.

"One of the patients has a gun!" I hear a voice yell back, causing me to look back at the door for a mere moment before my adrenaline started to race.

Now attempting to get up, I reach out towards his desk as much as I can while Dr. Jong-woo is still distracted.

"Put the building on lock down!" I hear another guard yell out again just as I finally reach the file.

Grabbing it, I manage to pull it off the table by the paper clip, yanking it off completely.

I then unfold the clip slightly and bring it to my cuffed wrist, shakily pushing the sharp end of it inside the key hole of the cuffs.

Jae-hyun's POV-

I had completely lost myself in this moment, feeling as if my body was completely ablaze.

I couldn't even see straight, but I kept pushing.

Then suddenly a loud siren starts to play throughout the building, several small red lights on ceiling now starting to brightly flash over and over again.

The other patients continued to bang harder and scream louder within their cells, causing all the guards to yell at them as well as myself.

I had managed to shoot one guard, maybe not fatally,  but he was still on the ground as I held another one close to me, having the gun pointed at his head.

"PUT THE GUN DOWN NOW!" I hear several of them yell as they pointed their guns at me.

Yet I could barley hear them.

Backing away towards the door, I then push the gun harder against the mans skull.

"PUT THE GUN DOWN NOW JAE-HYUN!" They yell again, yet I instead pull the gun away from the mans head and aim it in the direction of the guards, pulling the trigger several times as I pushed the guard against me down.

"GET DOWN!" I hear them yell as they scatter around, yet I turn around quickly and run up the stairs just as they started to shoot back at me.
