Y/n's POV-

(The Next Day...)

Slowly waking up in Moon Jo's bed, you reluctantly open your eyes as all your overwhelming thoughts and emotions all came flooding back.

Being able to see Moon Jo again, only for him to tell you that he was told you were dead...it broke something in you.

It made you feel helpless, as if the entire world was against you being with Moon Jo again.

And based on yesterday, it was.

Biting the inside of your lip, you take a deep breath as you do your best to silence those thoughts, now pushing yourself up and out of bed.

Throwing on one of Moon Jo's hoodies, you then exit the room and make your way downstairs.

"Mom?" You say, looking out into the living room as you reach the bottom of the steps, only to find she wasn't there.

Confused, you then look over towards the kitchen, noticing her sitting at the table with her back towards you.

Walking over to the kitchen, you look at her and notice her holding onto a water bottle, her gaze low.

"Hey." You say, standing at the other side of the table and sitting down in the seat across from her.

"Hey, when did you wake up?" She says lowly, looking over at you.

"Just now, everything alright?" You ask, concerned.

Yet mother only looks back at you, swallowing hard as she then looks down.
"...I don't know honestly." She says.

Your Mother's POV-

Truth me told, I was beyond conflicted.

On one hand, I want help my daughter in any way I can to make her happy again.

I'd do anything for that.

So if it involves bringing her and Moon Jo back together again, regardless of how I may feel about him, I'd do it...for her.

But on the other hand...after thinking over what Min Ho and Hee Joon said to me last night...I just don't know how I can make that happen anymore.

Before Y/n nearly killed herself, I had felt the exact same way they did.

I knew that them being together was beyond destructive.

Moon Jo is a serial killer, that will never change.

And my daughter taking a life right by his side...that won't change either.

But for Y/n's sake, especially since I don't want to nearly lose her again, I pushed that all to the side.

I gave her the chance to prove it all to me, to show me exactly what they actually share between each other.

And after seeing it for myself, I had no choice but to believe it.

But how am I supposed to help them get back to that now?
