Hee Joon's POV-

(Next Morning...)

Pulling out two mugs from my cabinet, I place them on the counter before grabbing my coffee pot.

"Do you want anything else in your coffee?" I spoke out towards my sister, Jia, who was sitting on the couch in the living room.

"No." She answers, myself now pouring the coffee into both mugs before setting the pot back down again.

Gently sighing, I finally grab both mugs again before turning around and making my way into the living room.

"Thank you." Jia speaks out as I hand her one of the mugs, her now accepting it.

Nodding, I then sit down on the couch beside her before setting my mug down on the coffee table.

"Hee Joon?" I hear my sister start, now turning my gaze back over to meet hers as I hum in response.

Yet she only gently sighs before turning away and hanging her head a bit lower.

"I uh...I thought about this on the way down here last night, and I think..." She says, now looking up towards me.

"I think that maybe I should tell Min Ho's father about what happ-" she starts, yet I almost immediately cut her off.

"I'm sorry, what?!" I say, shaking my head slightly as I tried to make sense of what she just said.

"Hee Joon please just hear me ou-" She starts, turning away again and shutting her eyes, yet I now lean in a little closer and speak up again.

"No, what did you just say?!" I repeat, quickly feeling my body tense up.

Just the mere thought of Min Ho's father made my skin crawl with disgust.

"Why would you even think about telling that piece of shit anything about Min Ho?!" I continue, now scuffing out.

That's when I stood up, seeing my sister now hold her mug a bit tighter.

"Where the fuck is that privilege even coming from? I'm sorry, did we just forget that he chose not to even be around to begin with?" I yell, now hearing my sister huff out as she placed her mug on the coffee table.

"Please just listen-" She starts, looking up at me with tears beginning to build up in her eyes, yet I couldn't hold myself back.

"No! Min Ho has never once met that man in his entire fucking life! Nor has that man ever made even an ounce of effort to just ask if he was okay!" I yell back, now beginning to pace back and forth in the living room.

"I know..." I hear her voice crack, yet I keep going.

"Then what makes you think he would care to know now?! He never even wanted Min Ho to begin with, Jia! So please explain to me what makes you think you should tell him anything! Huh?!" I shout, now stepping closer to her again.

Yet my sister only begins to cry, hanging her head low again.

"ANSWER ME, PLEASE!" I yell, feeling my eyes begin to burn at the frustration.

"HE IS STILL MIN HO'S FATHER, HEE JOON!" She yells back, now finally looking back up at me.

Taken aback, I back away slightly as I furrow my brows even harder now.

"He has a right to at least know this!" She continues, lowering her voice towards the end.

Feeling the tears in my eyes begin to build up, I quickly wipe them away before huffing out, almost chuckling at her words.
