Chapter 22

Still Min Ho's POV-

Merely seconds later, Moon Jo then abruptly lunges towards me.

Myself just barely able to scream, he quickly lifts the knife back up and attempts to stab me, yet I rip my hand away from my face just in time to catch the blade.

But Moon Jo only shoves the knife closer, causing me to collapse flat on my back as he hovers over top of me, still forcing the blade down towards my face.

Panic quickly started to set in, my surroundings beginning to blur as I could now only focus on Moon Jo's dark, wild eyes above me.

All while he still kept that same damn smile on his face...

Starting to hyperventilate, I kept my grip tight on the blade as I felt it push into my skin, now deeply slicing it open.

My hands then unwillingly began to tremble as I clench my teeth at the growing pain, continuing to push the knife back as much as I could still manage.

Yet my own blood was now starting to drip down onto my face from my hand, causing my grip on the blade to start slipping.

Moon Jo quickly notices this, his smile now seeming to grow as he then starts to push down even harder.

I couldn't keep my grip anymore...

Watching the blade only getting closer, I then completely lose my grip just in time to move my head quickly to the side, the knife now plunging into the floor right beside my face.

Huffing out, I then took my chances and elbowed Moon Jo across his face as hard as I could, causing him to collapse onto the floor beside me.

I had to act fast.

Inhaling sharply, I then forced myself up as quickly as I could, only one thought now becoming prominent in my mind.

I needed to get to my gun...

Moon Jo's POV-

Quickly regaining myself, I look up just in time to see Min Ho now begin to sloppily rush away from me.

Clenching my jaw at this, I then quickly pull the knife out of the floor and reach over, now grabbing a hold of one of his legs with my free hand before yanking him back down.

Min Ho then falls back down to the floor, giving me enough time to quickly reach over and plunge the knife deep into the back of his leg.

Min Ho's POV-

Screaming out at the sudden sharp pain, I clench my teeth together as I look back, now using my free leg to immediately kick Moon Jo harshly in his face.

He then falls back, giving me the chance to pull myself forward towards the living room.

Y/n's POV-

"Moon Jo!" You shout out, now rushing towards him, yet he slightly raises his hand up.

"S-Stay back." He mutters out, looking up at you before you notice blood now starting to leak down from his nose and drip onto the floor.

Staring back at him as he allowed his head to face back to the ground, you knew you had to trust him at this moment.

Moon Jo could handle himself, yet everything in you just wanted to help more.

Min Ho's POV-

Now in the living room, I quickly turn over and sit up to see the knife still stuck in the back of my leg.
