When Peter woke up in a foreign cell in the Netherlands, he was more than confused. Luna was no longer with him, and instead, he was greeted by three strange, but kind men. When he got out of the cell, he asked a man to use his cellphone, and after calling Happy, he was picked up in his airplane.
Now, he sat down while Happy stitched up a wound on his neck. He was beyond worried. Worried for Luna, worried for his friends, and everyone else who might be in trouble.
"Okay... hold still.. there we go." Mumbled Happy.
"Ouch." Peter groaned.
"I thought you had super strength." Commented Happy
"It still hurts." Peter argued. Happy stuck the needle in once again. "Happy." Peter leaned his head on his palm.
"Alright. Relax. Just a few more.. there we go."
"Oh, my god, Happy." Peter banged his fist on the table and stood up.
"Relax!" Happy shouted.
"Don't tell me to relax, Happy! How can I relax when I messed up so bad?!" Peter yelled. "I trusted Beck, right? I thought he was my friend so I gave him the only thing that Mr. Stark left behind for me and now Luna's probably dead, and he's going to kill my friends and half of Europe so please, do not tell me to relax!" He sat down, then brushed his hand through his hair.
"I'm sorry, Happy. I'm sorry I should shut..." Peter sighed. With tears in his eyes, he looked up. "I just really miss him. And I can't bare to lose Luna, too."
"I miss him, too, but Luna's strong. I mean, come on, the girl could probably beat me up in a fight. I'm sure she's okay." Happy assured. Peter sniffled, and stared down at his knees stressfully.
"Everywhere I go, I see his face, and.. the whole world is asking who is going to be the next Iron Man and I'm— I don't know if that's me, Happy. I'm not Iron Man. I can't even save my girlfriend." Peter cried.
"You're not Iron Man. You're never going to be Iron Man. Nobody could live up to Tony. Not even Tony. Tony was my best friend and he was a mess. He second-guessed everything he did. He was all over the place. The one thing that he didn't second guess, was picking you and Luna. I don't think Tony would have done what he did, if he didn't know you were going to be here after he was gone." Happy stated. "And your friends are in trouble, maybe even Luna, you're all alone, tech is missing, what are you gonna do about it?"
Peter stood up from his seat. "I'm gonna kick his ass."
Luna woke up bruised and in pain, sitting up against a glass wall looking down on the city of London. Beck paced the room with his drones, speaking to Fury, but his hologram was the one flying around.
"I got here as fast as I could. I did a full perimeter sweep. Nothing." He said. Luna dizzily stared up at him. For a moment, she had forgotten how she got there, and held up her hands. When she attempted to blow the man through the glass, the pain coursed through her arms.
She cried out and lay down in pain. She held her arms in between her legs.
"I'll take another look." Beck continued.
He glanced at Luna, then chuckled. "This is all I fear. May God help us, Fury. May God help us all."
Beck grinned. "Okay, people. No Avengers coming. We're good to go." He began to speak to his team. "William, launch the drones."
"You have to.." Luna coughed. "You have to stop!"
"Janice?" Beck ignored the girl. "You gotta get those wrinkles out. In a few hours, I could literally be shaking hands with the Queen." Beck sighed. "Guterman?"
