"How could you be so stupid?"

"I'm sorry."

"You were so careless."

"I know."

"I gave you one job!"

"Mr. Stark, I'd appreciate it if we don't do this right now. I'm almost at school." Luna sighed as she held the phone up to her ear.

"Is Peter with you?"

"No. Is he okay?" Luna asked hopefully.

"He's fine. Thanks to me."

Luna sighed in relief. "At least I know I didn't kill my best friend."

"Yeah, and you won't have to anymore."

"What?"

"I thought you were cut out for this, but you really aren't. If you can't control Peter, it's no use."

"What? No— Mr. Stark. This is the most action I've ever gotten. I tried to tell him no, but he wouldn't listen!" Defended Luna.

"Luna, just forget I ever told you about Peter. You don't need to save him anymore. I'll leave him to Happy."

"Wait, but—"

The phone went silent. Luna groaned, then stuffed it back into her pocket.

After class, Luna roamed the halls, searching for Ned and Peter. Just like yesterday, they were distant and secretive. It was beginning to annoy her.

"We gotta come up with a better name than 'glowy thingy.'" Said Peter. At the sound of his voice, Luna looked to her left, spotting them walking by.

"Hey, guys! Wait up!" She shouted. The two boys stopped walking.

"Oh, hey, Luna." Peter greeted calmly.

"Hey." Luna wrapped her arms around Peter, hugging him tightly.

"Everything alright?" Peter questioned as she backed away.

"Yeah— totally. I'm great." She nodded quickly. All of a sudden. Peter ran over to the side.

Ned and Luna looked to each other in confusion.

"Come on, come on, come on." Whispered Peter. The two siblings shared another glance, then followed Peter.

"Peter, what's happening?" Luna whispered.

"Hey, that's one of the guys that tried to kill me." Peter whispered to Ned, forgetting that Luna was there.

"Tried to kill you?" Luna raised her eyebrows, pretending to not understand.

"Oh! Luna—" Peter laughed anxiously. "Forgot you were here. Don't mind me and Ned. We're, uh... playing a game. Pretending to be spies and— and stuff." Peter stammered. Ned nodded in agreement.

"And...stuff." Luna repeated after him while nodding slowly.

"Luna, just play along." Ned instructed. Luna shook her head slowly, but did as he said, even though she knew they were both lying.

"We gotta get out of here." Ned stated.

"Oh no. They might kill us because we're wanted spies on a mission without disguises." Luna continued in a monotone voice.

"No, no, no. I gotta follow them." Spoke Peter.

"Peter, you can't walk straight into the danger. You can get yourself killed." Luna grabbed Peter's arm.

"They can lead me to the guy that dropped me in the lake." Peter argued.

"The lake? Did you drown? What happened?" Luna asked worriedly.

"Luna, it's only a game. Relax." Ned tapped her shoulder.

"Stay here, guys. I'm going." Peter announced.

"Peter—"

"Stay."

"What are you doing?" Asked another boy in the room behind them. "Playing— a game..." Ned responded hesitantly. "Yeah. You good?"

"Chess." The boy in the room smiled, motioning behind him.

"You have fun with that." Luna smiled. "I, on the other hand, have to go kick some imaginary bad guy's ass." Luna stated.

"No, Luna, you can't." Ned pulled her back.

"Why? It's only a game isn't it? I don't see why I can't go." She argued.

"You just— you can't. It would ruin the game." Ned lied.

"Why? Cause girls can't be good spies?" Luna raised her eyebrows.

"What? No—No! Girls can be spies! It's just that Peter.. he's, uh, he's head spy, and in this game we have to listen to what he says and he said to stay." Ned explained.

Luna nodded, though clearly didn't believe him. "Well, in this game, I'm the spy that disobeys everyone." Luna broke away from Ned, then ran downstairs.

"Luna!" Ned yelled.

"Sorry, Ned! Doing it for our country!" Luna replied. As quietly as she could, she made her way down the stairs, and hid behind a large box by the back wall. She peered over and watched as two men dressed in all black spoke to each other.

Peter seemed to have made a noise and they were walking straight towards him. Though, he was stuck onto the table.

Luna slowly held up her arm, then distracted them with a glass of water falling onto the floor. They forgot about Peter and made their way upstairs.

Once they were gone, Peter stood up and looked around carefully. "So, is the game over now?" Luna spoke as she revealed herself.

"Luna— did you— what did— did you see those guys?" Peter continued to play along.

"No, I couldn't see anything, really. I was hiding behind the box." Luna lied. The only way she would want Peter to know she found out, is if he told her himself.

"Right, right." Peter sighed in relief. "I told you to stay up there with Ned."

"And I didn't want to listen." Luna replied. "You guys have been so weird lately." She added in disappointment. "Do you want to tell me what's going on?"

"Sorry, Luna. May said it's flowering." Said Peter.

Luna frowned. Peter walked past her to go upstairs. Her eyes followed him, but she didn't move.
