"Hello?"

"Luna."

"Wow, totally not a strange and ominous greeting."

"Leeds."

"Yes, Mr. Stark." Luna sighed as she crossed the street. She held the phone close to her ear. "Is everything alright?" She added.

"Yes, all is good. It's all good."

"Great, great. So, uh, why are you calling?"

Luna didn't know much about her biological parents, but what she did know was that they must have been not your average parents.

Luna always thought she was strange. She didn't belong. She had felt this way since fifth grade, where she caused an entire blackout throughout the entire city, along with other unexplainable issues.

There was an earthquake just before the catastrophe, though Luna knew it was her fault, too. The water in every bathroom sink at her school burst, the air became cold. Everyone blamed it on the earthquake. It seemed to be the most logical explanation.

Luna thought so, too. She had thought this until later that day, back at home, when the water in her glass began to float upwards towards her ceiling just as she entered the room. She was confused, to say the least. She still blamed it on the earthquake, even if that had been hours earlier and was certainly not a phenomenon that would cause such paranormality.

Too many more incidents happened that day, and they could no longer have been a coincidence. Every time she would grow angry, or upset, all hell would break loose.

At 14, after years of confusion, blackouts, earthquakes, water bursts, and harsh winds, Luna sought out to find Tony Stark. She knew he would have the technology to help her. At first, she was dismissed. She was called an attention seeker.

What grabbed Stark's attention, was a sudden gush of wind, and a trash can that had suddenly burst out in flames just as she was becoming angrier.

He took multiple tests, testing her supposed powers, checking to make sure that these occurrences were not coincidences. They were not.

Luna began meeting with Tony Stark frequently, training her powers. She learned quickly. She was in full control of her powers and the earthquakes began to diminish. By the end of the year, at age 15, she had a suit: a purple suit with a dark blue lining.

She named herself Lunar Eclipse, with help from Tony, who quite admired her birthname. She even met the Avengers. Tony offered her a spot on the team, but she refused due to her age and nerves.

She was young, and wanted the time to be a teenager. With Spider-Man living in her town, she rarely had the chance to save anyone, which upset her because of the clear immaturity and inexperience from the man in the Spider Suit.

"I've got a favor to ask of you because I know you're mature enough to handle it."

"Gee, thanks Mr. Stark but, uh, quick question. Do you really know Peter Parker- because he always goes on about how he's got an internship with you and he's always disappearing and-"

"That's exactly what I need from you. Peter's your boyfriend, right?"

"No, just friends." Luna furrowed her eyebrows. She held onto her backpack strap and continued her way down the street.
